Yes they have high resist. But We are talking about a guy who could mind zap WW, Superman, PG, MM. Orion is subject to very high level Tp. Remember Kalibak with the Psy Omegas? I see that happening here. And Despero is confortably stronger than Superman so I figure he's also stronger than Orion. If Orion were smart, he would use his Astro Force powers from a distance. He won't be doing that unless stated. Despero for the win.
