That's Ecclair who you might remember from an arc not long after the whole Ragnarok thing. He actually has been the villain in one of the OVAs. It has been too long for me to remember the details but he and Sakaki do have a history.

they used to work together doing missions. also iirc, they had another companion at that time as well and this new guy beside Éclair at the end could be him.
and yeah, I'm with you on that AuraAngel. I had honestly expected a bit more of the bow master.... then again she is a BOW master so even if she's somewhat holding her own against Shigure in close combat right now, she's much more suited to a distance battle. and apparently she's easy to rile up too, so there is that to consider I guess.
For the love of crap don't turn into Lance of the West...just don't! please! C'mon bow lady you can do better than this right.
But now that a chapter has passed I really want to know why Shigure isn't focusing on the master that's actively pursuing Kenichi and Miu. I mean I though it was made clear that the other guys could give a shit less about them except for Michael and I guess the knight guy now!
But what's Christopher Éclair doing here? I mean considering Sakaki whooped on him a while back I thought he would be a tad more bitter about the whole thing: or this could just be one of those out the blue conveniences that's only here to give the author an excuse for keeping the main characters alive.

only time will tell, wakkawakkawakka. I also hope that the Bow master has more surprises than the little she's shown so far.
eh, maybe because she knows that this Michael guy likes to screw around before actually killing? and besides, it'd be rather hard for her to fight him first and let the irate bow master try and attack from a distance, I guess.
probably has a score to settle or maybe it's a job he's taken on recently. we'll find out next chapter I suppose.
Wow....uh yeah this was a bad chapter for the Bow master. I mean Shigure found enough time to get away from her, get some gold to appease Christopher, and jump right back into the fight w/o her doing shit. Also Christopher's friend is doing pretty good against the weapon masters.
Though I think the best part of the whole thing was Sakaki's reaction to Christopher being on the ship.

yeah. well then again, grand master class or not, she's a bow user, so speed probably isn't her forte. and I think Shigure is seriously going all out still like she did when she first tried to distract all of the Hachiou members, so that could also be it. and like I said, she's easily angered, so that could be it. maybe.
I thought so too, though it also looks like this Michael guy and Riagou are pretty damn tough, possibly even more so than the bow master. Raigou for sure is, though.
all in all, I thought Sakaki handled him being there pretty well.

and if the author does go that far, probably not in that order. then again, the other Ryozanpaku masters have been running towards there for a chapter or two now, so who knows? maybe they'll show up just in the nick of time.
That is...kind of out there. But isn't Hayato still stuck fighting his weapon counterpart. Also I might sound like a hypocrite but I actually liked the fanservice this time. Don't know why but Shigure in that pose at the end of the chapter was pretty hot.
Also I'm sad to say that bow girl and Michael didn't do too much to impress me this chapter.
Gender: Male Location: home, playing Guilty Gear Xrd.
it is out there since like you said, Hayato is busy fighting that Ganosuke guy and I doubt he'll suddenly know something is going on and make a run for it..... and I guess you have a point about the fanservice, wakkawakkawakka, though given she's pretty much captured the fanservice is a bit mitigated.
neither did they impress me. I had honestly expected more of them, but since they're gonna be sticking around for a while, I guess there is always hope, right?

ok, wow, that had to be the most pissed off moment I've ever seen Akisame have. I already pity whoever fights him next.
now on one hand, kinda disappointed that it didn't immediately show what happened to Shigure, but on the other hand, we got a glimpse at how the fight between Hayato and Ganosuke is going. hard to believe it's still an even fight.

would be kinda sad since it'd mean not seeing a confrontation between him and Saiga, but yeah not taking the kit could have been a big mistake on his part.
Well yeah not taking the kit may turn out to be more of a disadvantage to Hayato than he thinks at the moment. Though it would be more awesome if Hayato actually won while being starved of proteins.
Also....whoa there Akisame that's quite a face right there. Though the interactions between Christopher and Sakaki are still funny I can't help but feel that I'm being cheated out of some Shigure BSDM fanservice right now....yeah here I go being hypocritical again.
Gender: Male Location: home, playing Guilty Gear Xrd.
I suppose so. wonder just what exactly the Exeuctioner Blade group will do with her. and yeah, Hayato winning despite such a disadvantage would be awesome. just wonder how much longer they can keep fighting though....
Sakaki was indeed a jerk, but given one of their own had been captured, he was just far too angry to be friendly or thankful for anything else. hell, I'm surprised Apachai wasn't going crazy given how much time he spends hanging out with Shigure sometimes.
Pfft...wow...just...damn it author. An entire chapter if Shigure running around naked. hot damn. With that said this managed to be even more ridiculous than the Lance of the West fight. Well done.
Haven't read HSD since... oh, right after Apachai basically tells death "No".
Has the series become really stupid, or is it still worth reading? Doesn't sound good, if this is an example.
