When I first started reading HSDK, I was young enough for it to be okay to like young Shigure.
Holy shit, how times have changed.
I have this thing about young men and slightly older women (20s-30s). I think it should be perfectly legal for a young man to get with a woman in her 20s or 30s. Well, probably any woman around his age or older. I knew what the **** I was doing at 15 which is around Kenichi's age. I think the laws are bullshit. I was doing everything I could to get into any woman's pants and I was honestly better at it than I am, now (married, my game is rusty).
I said all that to say this: Kenichi should be able to get with Shigure.
Kenichi is only 5 or 6 years younger than Shigure. In contrast Misato was old enough to be Shinji's mom: teen mom-ish whatever. Not saying that it wouldn't be cool if you were a guy but damn. Also Kenichi is built better than most adult males unlike Shinji who actually looks like a little boy.
But enough about Shigure's vain romantic pursuits with Kenichi, wonder what this brother is talking about. Also I find it weird that Kenichi never bothers to learn any ubber disarming techniques from Shigure considering he doesn't like weapons and all that jazz.

Yeah I was surprised at how close Kenichi and Shigure are in age. Would seem to me he'd have it much easier getting with her than having to go through the Superman to date Miu.
Realistically Kenichi is making the right choice between Miu and Shigure. As annoying as it is from a writing standpoint, Miu is pretty much perfect. She can cook, clean, take care of the bills, and accomplish almost any task if given enough time.
Shigure on the other hand is somewhat socially retarded and really only seems to be good at fighting/making things for fighting...and Miu will eventually become master class as well so she won't have that distinction for too long.

exactly. and at this point, I'd say Hayato would have no problem letting the two hook up, but just for the sake of things, he's keeping up a front or something.
Well it looks like Yami and the Executioner's Blades are going to town on the army. Also will people stop giving Shigure sharp stuff to work with. Wonder why she decided to cooperate in the first place though.

you know, I can't recall for the life of me if they did say that. at any rate, Shigure is simply sticking around because her brother is most likely around to try and keep her in line. that and to also apparently troll the scientists with making weak swords.
but damn, it looks like Yami and all of its forces are just ripping every army in the world a new one; there were more deaths (both on- and off panel) in this chapter than in the entire series up until this point. things sure are getting dark in this series, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
Started reading this from the beginning again (from just after chapter.. 'Berserk!Miu gets kidnapped by Masked muay thai guy') as my lunch break manga.
Feels good to start this over again.

Why haven't the governments of the world just started shooting aerial strikes a Yami? I mean no one but Elders should be able to stop missles and 50 caliber rounds from coming at them

while none of them are Hayato level, their speed is still far beyond that of normal people, so chances are they could probably just outrun an aerial strike. and since that Bow Master from the Executioner Blades can shoot an arrow with enough force to take down helicopters, I'd say that actually dealing with an aerial strike shouldn't be that hard.
besides, wasn't there something a few chapters ago about certain aspects of each government being taken down when they all launched the coup?
Well we saw Miu dodge bullets if that's anything. Though for a second I though Kenichi was going to dodge a shot a point blank range to show off his uber feats of speed now.
