Just got this game and I have to say... The Story is actually very interesting. I like how they put multiple People/Story Lines in it. I dont mind the added person but it seems to me that 80% of the time the Computer is better. Had a guy playing as Peirs last night on the part where you Chase Ada in the Gunner car thingy (I DONT KNOW!) and he kept running into walls...
My biggest issue however is the Skills. I loved the chance to upgrade weapons and buy armor and such. Though I see the point of the Skills since you have multiple characters to go through. Upgrading weapons for 7 people would be time consuming and overall pointless. Best to make it just skills that go along all of them.... Still dont have to like it >_>
"Maybe some of Valve's good habits can rub-off a little on Capcom"
lol
And wow, I thought certain things in a game being exclusive to a console was a dick move, but this takes it to a whole new level. L4D pretty much ran its course for me a long time ago anyway, so eh.
Then again, seeing as how difficult Microsoft has been for Vavle to work with when it came to L4D DLC and whatnot, and since there's no L4D on PS3, I guess I don't really blame them for making it PC exclusive. The L4D2 survivors are only playable on mercenaries anyway, not the other extra game modes, and having the survivors from the first L4D would've been more of a dealbreaker for me, personally.

Me gusta dat crossover. <3 PC
Ahem.
Started playing this. Leon's campaign is so similar to Raccoon. I love it. Really liked the rookie cop thing lol. Still in chapter 1. God damn the fkn QTEs. Capcom needs to drop that shit. So annoying. ANyways. Ay tips for this RE noob?
lol She's still better than Sheva though, but Piers was probably my favorite out of the partners. Hm, so what part you at now?
As for tips, um.. I don't think there's really many that need to be given unless you're on one of the harder difficulties or something, but I gave increasing my characters' defense and melee a top priority first, and get the Breakout skill perk if the QTEs continually annoy you enough.

Up to chapter 4. Got the breakout skill. Like it. Still loathe the QTEs. I just don't understand why there are so many. They feel like such a chore IMO. The game would be much better if they were more limited like in RE4.
Story appears to be good and I am looking forward to the other campaigns.

Pretty much any part with Simmons I'll agree with you on far as QTEs in the game. Those were loathsome, but not as bad as before they did an update. Glad you like the breakout though. It also makes it easier to break free from enemy grabs, as you prolly noticed.
I liked the way they did the climbing in Chris's campaign in the sense that it added some tension as enemies were firing at you, but to each their own.

BlogMC. Made it to chapter 2. I like Finn's "Is this always this awesome?" Reminds me of how many great characters this franchise has given us over its 15+ years of existence.
I wonder...what the hell happened to Billy Cohen? I guess I should read some of those documents/files that detailed the timeline and stuff.
I think I'll get a PS emu and play old school RE(archaic robotic gameplay be damned)
We haven't gotten anything on Billy, Rebecca, or Barry. As far as we know, Billy is still off the radar. I really want another game with him though. :/
