Mostly, the infallibility that everyone seems to place on them. It takes away a character's credibility when they say they can do something. It establishes that, when a character says something, they can be wrong.

Superman failed to do someting he said he would? Yes, he was wrong. Thanos lost the guantlet? He was wrong. Wolverine can't cut something? He was wrong, too. Now, when all of these characters have been wrong, why do you insist that Cell, this one time, is right? Especially when he fails just like all the others. Why do you insist that Freiza is right despite being wrong before repeatedly? Just because other comic characters are wrong doesn't make Freiza or Cell automatically right.

You are right when you say it doesn't take away from a character's ability. But when that character has been wrong before, we do not simply trust that they have an ability that they say they do.

When did frieza or cell lie about their power? That is what I am telling you that I don't get.

He doesn't have to. And the marvel side is providing proof.

Carver hasn't backed up any of his claims. So even if hes not taking a side its logical to want carver to back up his claims.

The thanos side has.

no, carver has provided proof...but everything he provides, you guys just shoot it down. that's different than if he actually doesn't point to any feats.

Thanos stomp cell too...but buu would probably beat him. Buu its versatile.

Because Holyfield has a 2-0 on Tyson. And there are at least 5 other fighters other than Ali, Holyfield, and Chavez (not Chaves) who at their primes were better than Tyson.

What have you all provided besides thanos taking on surfer and thanos destroying a planetoid.

It was a planet and a weakened thanos tanked the blast.

And you still haven't proven Freiza can KO thanos. He doesn't have the power to.

His punching power and durability is a tiny fraction of thanos's.
