There's nothing magical about Superman, not one thing.
Just saying, shit like that (Supes talking in space, TIE's exploding in space and making sounds) happens all the time in movies. Armageddon FTW.

You said his abilities are like magic. They're not.

If I wanna watch two opposing personalities fighting each other, Army of Darkness.

No. It's a fallacy to exclude things that might be possible but aren't shown on screen, while it is not to make an educated guess that things that weren't shown might happen. If the latter wasn't the case, any argument for Superman assuming FTL in atmosphere would be instantly void. Your choice.
No. Applying suspension of disbelief, I'm merely trying to figure out why Superman, if he was capable of FTL flight, wasn't utilizing this ability throughout the entirety of the movie to speedblitz in and out of every scenario, which would - just as example - prevented the ridiculous time-reversal plot.
As suspension of disbelief renders the "PIS" explanation void, another hypothesis has to be taken into consideration with something existing within the atmosphere that doesn't exist in outer space being the most obvious thing. Right?
Oh. You mean, like you're trying to limit magic by the introduction of physics? If we exclude logical limitations, than the magical field protecting Hogwarts can't be overpowered, unless some really powerful magic is used.
This makes absolutely no sense.
If we assume that the shield survives the impact, than the energy is either absorbed and nullfied or evenly distributed through the shield. It wouldn't simply pass through and hit the castle. Neither would it act like a snow globe, because there is no attachment between the barrier and the castle.
You are aware of the fact that HP Wizards are commonly breaking the rules of physics? Some applications including the distortion of space (Tents at Quidditch World Cup in GoF), time (time-turner in PoA) and the ability to teleport themselves instantious to any place they desire.
The Kármán line is at an altitude of 100 kilometers and friction enough to generate recognizeable aerodynamic deceleration is already present at an altitude of 120 kilometers.
An entry at an angle above 5° (as in "straight line to the ground") is pretty suicidal. At 5° the decelartion is already equal to 10 times the gravitational acceleration (98 m/s) when flying with 7.8 km/s of speed. At 170.000 km/h and 9° it's 500 G (4900 m/s). When doing this at speed of light and hitting the atmosphere with an 45-90° angle, Superman would decelarete very fast, which is, pretty much implied in the movie, where he goes from FTL to mere supersonic speed in split seconds, if I remember correctly.
And he would be exposed to temperature equal to his speed in m/s (a mathematical coincidence). Can Supermans face take 300 million °K? I seriously doubt it.
So assuming that he would make it to the ground with anything close to speed of light requires two no-limit-fallacies. Which means, that it doesn't work.
I'd say if he tries to perform this stunt, he would be vaporized in the atmosphere or would be decelerated so fast that his impact wouldn't generate that much force.
