Tanaraq modified the Wendigo curse where if your scratched or bitten by a Wendigo you will become one as well. This new spell converted thousands into Wendigo�s including Vindicator (Heather Hudson) and Wolverine. Here is the moment he is turned and becomes a pawn of Tanaraq

Amazing X-Men #12 (Vol.4):
Here Wolverine after being turned into a Wendigo and under the control of Tanaraq stabs Colossus from behind. Tanaraq was defeated which reverted the spell returning Wolverine back to normal thus saving Colossus.

Amazing X-Men #10-12 [Vol.2] :
Here it�s retconned that Tanaraq created the Wendigo curse and is the reason the spell has been spreading across Canada infecting THOUSANDS. The more that was affected made Tanaraq more powerful. He even modified the spell to spread into the US and even the Avengers turned (Also turned Aurora, Northstar, Wolverine, Heather Hudson). When Tanaraq apparently died, so did the Wendigo curse. However, this won�t be the last of either of them.

Not sure if it was because of Tanaraq or not, but the Avengers are trying to contact Dr.Strange to help deal with the Wendigo outbreak and he�s currently indisposed of. If it was due to Tanaraq that�s a huge showing as he took him out inside his own home at the height of his power

Here Tanaraq growing stronger with the Wendigo curse spreading decides to overthrow his fellow Great Beasts and steal their powers adding to his with the help of his minions, the Shadows.

Amazing X-Men #12:[Vol.2]
Getting badly beaten by Tanaraq before, the X-Men make a deal with the Great Beasts to give them their powers. Even in their amped state are not enough to stop Tanaraq due to his Wendigo curse spreading into America. Rockslide had the power of Tunda, Firestar had the power of Tolomaq, Iceman had the power of Kolomaq, not sure who�s power Storm had, maybe Somon. Well the heroes apparently kill Tanaraq, but I have my doubts as this takes place in the Spirit Realm not the Realm of the Beasts, and the spirit realm in the past is where the Great Beasts use avatars of themselves.

Wolverine being a Wendigo was a awesome idea. The adamantium mixed with the raw power and healing has bad@ss written all over it. I bet he was more powerful than a regular Wendigo.

Probably was. He was a wendigo in a what if story many years ago and was taking on iron man, namor and captain America at once.

Also when hulk turned into a wendigo he showed to be stronger then sentry and almost are him. I've said it for years wendigos are all not created equal and some have powers and abilities others don't (telepathy, dimensional traveling, intelligence, etc)

Here the God Squad get to the Skrull Gods palace, but it is being guarded by pantheons of Gods from 978 past and present Imperial Worlds that the Skrulls have took over. The team is completely outnumbered and outgunned as even Demorgorge the God Eater was struggling fighting them. Snowbird decides to take the form of the deadliest of the Great beasts, Neooqtoq and was taking them all on by herself killing a great number of them. This is the first we have heard of this Great Beast

This seems like a terrible low showing for Atum tho
