I hate these stealth feats they're in 1 thread a massive stealth feat for character A when Character B didn't spotted him but if character B is in another thread then suddenly stuff like that is pretty fast labeled PIS.

Everyone gets this idea in their head of what a character should be, and should be able to do, rather than regard the source material for the facts on what they can and cannot do.

as for this thread; it's fine to find what characters are personally capable of doing, but in a fight speed is not the end all be all cause CIS overrides every power there is. also, spider-man/wolverine/batman don't have a prayer against thor, as power level does indeed factor in.

Yea, Hulk can leap at crazy speeds. His caught up to fast moving targets and his jumped into orbit I believe. Rulk jumped from the Moon to the Earth. But I could probably out run him based on what I've seen. Makes no sense.
True super speed, akin to the Flash, seems to be an entirely independent power which at it's core is operating at normal levels while you view the world in a slowed state if that makes sense.
err hulk doesn't have to dodge bullets unlike spider-man, but if he wanted to catch a jet, spidey would have to ask the hulk for a favor if his web-shooters ran out since he's you know...faster than he is
I personally think that stealth stuff is more annoying than others feat categories (subjective) but I think one of the differences is that a lot of the infiltration happens off panel which is something that usually doesn't happen with other feats or at least not so often. I can live with infiltartion stuff if it actually happens on panel and not that Someone stands in front of a facility that's "impossible to infiltrate" and in teh next panel he's right in front of his goal.

Except that, unlike you, I can actually prove my opinion.
I find it how you start your whole argumentation with "I think there are feats, which are needed, but an understanding of characters as well", then retreat into your fantasy land where Thor is grossly out of Hulk's speed level, while being relativly close with the Superman/Flash category.
Is that your understanding of the character, that Thor is millions of times faster than Hulk, or Wolverine/Spiderman/Captain America, and his unimpressive feats that don't even surpass street-levelers, baring like two (and I'm being generous) spread out across almost half a century are what's needed to get a 'true understanding' of the character?
I don't know what to say, it's intelligent things like this that really makes me facepalm, and realize how much of a rational person being a fanboy can really make a person. I'm sorry for insulting, but I'm not the type to go "there, there" when I see a person drolling on the floor from how much of an idiot he is, and it's this type of common sense, logic or even basic understanding failures that drain most persons out of being patient and getting involved in rational, logic based debates.
But you can keep on going.
How's your Superman vs Thor speed fanfiction in the rain going? Have you gotten into the part where Th or taps i nto his never-seen-before god status and speedblitzes him?
[/sigh]
