You're ignoring all of Drago's punches after the first bell, the fact Apollo was well out of his prime, and the fact it was an exhibition fight you imbecile.
Did you miss the fact that Drago wasn't taking it as an exhibition fight and why Apollo looked like a peice of raw beaten meat right after round one? Then later died. Did you miss that important piece?
You should probabaly watch the film, as you're getting the facts wrong again
You're a hypocrite. On one hand you say lang's win doesn't mean shit but tout the Drago win over an out his prime Creed like its cool despite the fact he cheated as well.
2) Strawman argument. I never claimed that, you're lying again and misrepresenting my point concerning Lang-Rocky's first match. Rocky was not in top shape and Lang only beat him
3) Very poor logic. You're ignoring that: A) While not in his prime, Apollo was still in great physical shape and had his moves B) Drago didn't just beat Apollo, he killed him
Three reasons why you're the worst debater in the MVF
I explained why after and you are ok with throwing attacks in there so don't throw stones in glass houses.
Rocky was in great shape just wasn't or didn't have the eye of the tiger. He wasn't hungry anymore but needed creed speed to defeat him unlike his win over Drago.
Apollo wasn't young and well past his prime. That was a rather obvious point of the movie. Rocky even alludes to this to Apollo who also took on someone he had no intel on. He fought an unknown opponent past his prime. Lang also cheated.
He did kill a guy in an exhibition matchup after he cheated.
You seem to believe this is awesome. You're not even a debater, honestly.
You're ignoring the entire premise of Rocky 3 now. Micky explained it clearly, Rocky was not in top shape when he first faced Lang. The film > your beliefs.
Apoolo was still in great shape, had his moves and was a former champion. Him being killed by Drago was to further cement in us that Drago was a machine and Rocky's greatest challenge to date. You need to pay better attention.
He was in great shape just not hungry and minus the eye of the tiger. I interpret correctly whereas you don't.
Apollo was past his prime and completely unaware of the steroid user who also cheated in the ring after the bell. No, Lang was since Lang destroyed him. Drago failed to beat him one single time despite the steroid abuse.
The entire nation turned on Drago and looked at him as a disgrace.
Stop lying. You didn't understand the film. Granted, you probably didn't watch it.
Mickey goes on to say that Lang was correct in saying Rocky's had fights picked for him so he could easily win. ie Rocky didn't have to really train or push himself hard for the last three years, he was facing chumps. Stop ignoring context.
The allusion to Drago's steroid use was to further cement that Drogo was going to be Rocky's toughest opponent.
Oh my, you're a dense one. Rocky not being in top condition when he faced Lang the first time due to Rocky having cherry picked opponents for his last 10 title defenses IS LITERALLY A MAIN PLOT of Rocky III. The film > your nonsense.
Working out to build a physique doesn't automatically mean you're a great boxer, you ridiculous person. We see Rocky's lack of ability due to his years pf stagnation when he loses to Lang and then we see how he obliterates Lang in 3 rounds after he's trained. His physique was about the same in either match.
Quanchi logic: Being muscular = you're a great fighter by default
I said he was in great shape not in eye of the tiger shape. What I say is exactly correct.
I said he was in great shape not eye of tiger shape. He wins due to creed speed. That was a major plot point that he needed speed in order to best him. Only opponent he ever needed speed in order to beat. He didn't need creed speed against Drago.
Rocky was in great shape evidenced by him being a reigning champ just not eye of the tiger shape.
Lang was the embodiement of the eye of the tiger, he was what rocky used to be before the fame and fortune so when they met he wrecked his shit. rocky trained after the loss, got himself refined and adapted to lang's attack strategy and beat him.
drago was a whole new beast. he really had no flaws other than the origin of his power is illegal, but he doesn't have the small tank of lang. rocky won with sheer will and the training made him not die taking the hits from drago.
drago would obviously win the fight so the only real question would be who would win if drago didn't dope for a year or two and had to fight a clubber lang who was formally trained (and listened to said trainers) by an equal to rocky's team. under those conditions i'd give it to lang as he seemed to be championship level without formal training. he was a a diamond in the rough at title fight level, so with more refinement he'd not only beat up drago but he might have killed rocky in the 3rd movie
