1. He had the opportunity to build this 10lbs of muscle against Lang as well, but decided avoiding him was the safer bet. Further proof he himself felt Lang was the harder hitter.
Besides by real world standards (which you keep trying to use with these ridiculous characters) 10lbs of muscles is not nearly enough to gain this super powered durability that he would need to have in your theory
2. So now you're claiming that Rocky didn't try to avoid Lang's hits? That was the entire purpose of the training. Lang just powered thru the defenses so Rocky had to come up with a new plan on the fly. Something he never had to do with Drago mind you. Then he blocked Lang. Do you know what goes into a rope-a-dope at all? It's a lot of blocking. Hence Rocky was not taking Clubber's hits, he was blocking them. Come on now. You're better than that.
3. Rocky had brain damage caused by years of blows to the head, supported by actual film dialog and not just flagrant fanboism. If it were all or even mostly Drago it would have been flat out stated. It wasn't. But keep trying to pull that card and continue showing your bias.
Lang's endurance has nothing to do with this so that quick cheap "win" you keep trying to get by bringing up his lack of stamina is pointless.
Rocky went 15 rounds taking Drago's hits with little issue. After one round of taking shots from Lang, Rocky decided to rope-a-dope him to save himself from another brutal KO.
You're right, they aren't comparable. Lang hits were too much for Rocky to take head on, while Drago's were a walk in the park by comparison.
You've lost long ago. But by all means keep trying. I could use the amusement
Based on common sense, Clubber is an excellent boxer but Drago was a man whose been bred to "Box".Dude can deliver a punch that's worth of 2,000 psi which is more deadlier then a discharge from a shotgun at close range, he also has better stamina and holds more then twice the winning streak then Clubber did. (Drago had 132 wins while Clubber only had 57.)
In conclusion-Clubber is great and all,but pitting him against a monster like Drago would be simply too much of a challenge.
What? You posted a statistic showing Rocky out-punching Lang. So which is it? Is Rocky on the defensive or is he out-fighting him?
No, that's not a fact as Rocky took plenty of Lang's shots. That Rocky decided to fight slightly smarter doesn't mean much. Also you must consider that Drago was much taller and more skilled than Lang, Rocky had to tank his hits in order to get inside his defense. He couldn't just jab and mock him like Lang.
I already told you, two guys with equal durability/damage soak. One gets jacked, the other stays skinny. Are you honestly going to deny that the bigger guys is going to be tougher?
You can be on the defensive and still attack. Counter punching is a good example. But you did see him blocking right?
It actually means a lot. It means Rocky himself felt that taking hits from Lang, waiting for an opportunity to present itself was out of the question. Since that's Rocky's standard M.O. I'd say it's very telling indeed that Lang pulled him away from it.
You never specified these guys were equal in anyway. Again if you wanna change your previously stated hypothetical scenario you can, but at least admit your original one wasn't even close to this.

I don't know why some of you are going on about being right and winning. Rob and Impediment were in on this gag because I PMed them. Silent and Rao PMed me and figured I changed the post. I highly doubt anybody thought Quan made the post, but simply played along just for the lulz.
Or you know, he knew Lang was a blowhard who would just whiff and eventually tire out (like he did), because the story narrative all but wrote that on the viewer's forehead.
