The origin of Earth's Mightiest Heroes forever remains one of Loki's great regrets. Every year, on the Isle of Silence, he ruminates on the past and how he inadvertently caused the creation of the premier superhero team in Marvel, from Avengers #300:
Acts of Vengeance was a company-wide crossover revolving around Loki's idea to combine the forces of Marvel's super-villains and pit them against different superheroes. The core super-villain team, the Prime Movers, consisted of Doctor Doom, Kingpin, Magneto, Mandarin, Red Skull and the Wizard.
The storyline touched nearly every single title across the Marvel line. As an epilogue, Captain America, Vision and Thor discuss the entire ordeal in Avengers Annual #19:
One of the subplots running through the Acts of Vengeance, was Dr. Doom's efforts to study Spider-Man's newfound powers. At the time, Spider-Man was imbued with the Unipower. Loki would go on to spoil Dr. Doom's efforts, from Spectacular Spider-Man #160 and Web of Spider-Man #61:
Loki would do more than that however. To top off his Acts of Vengeance, Loki created the Tri-Sentinel -- the very threat that the Unipower was drawn to Spider-Man to defeat, from Amazing Spider-Man #329:
The penultimate chapter of Dark Reign and all of Loki's recent machinations concluded with Siege. After causing a terrible incident which cast blame and paranoia on Asgard, Loki goaded Norman Osborn to lay siege to Asgard with the Dark Avengers, the Initiative, H.A.M.M.E.R. and the Sentry.
But finally, what Loki helped to initiate at the cost of innocent lives, he helped to end at the cost of his own life.
And that's it... for now. I shall be posting updates to the thread regularly.
Thanks for reading and feel free to post additions, suggestions, corrections, etc. Please keep in mind that this is a respect thread. So if you're unsure whether something you'll post would be objectionable, it probably will be. I'm absolutely open to using PMs and receiving feedback that way also. This thread is dedicated to Kris Blaze and leonidas. Hope you all enjoy and peace.
It is revealed, that Loki planned everything including his death and resurrection. Salvation from the Void was possible even at the last moment by hiding under the carpet of the Universe. (please log in to view the image)
This is one of the best respect thread i have ever seen is most have been hard work because most Loki feats are not recognize. The only problem i have this thread is his feat of intelligence. While Loki is skilled has inventor he has other feats such has manipulating people and events, his skills at political maneuver and other cognitive skills. I like Rage.Of.Olympus scans because it does not just show that Loki has the ability to learn it shows that he has good analytical skills and is good at solving mysteries. Overall it one the best thread i have seen. Keep up the good work.
The guidance of Ikol compels the young Loki to make preparations against the coming of the Serpent. Thor's words reinforce Loki's resolve, though it would cost the young god everything. However, Thor contends that no good man's going to help or follow him. So Loki will just have to make do with a few bad ones, starting with the vicious Hel Wolf captured by Odin. But just how exactly will Loki manage to tame such a violent beast?

Loki vs the Hel Wolf, from Thor #618 and Journey Into Mystery #623:
Loki's first fight with Thor in the modern age was entitled, "The Vengeance of Loki" and involved a manic chase throughout the city. Writer, Bryan J.L. Glass, and artist, Tan Eng Huat, preserve parts from Thor saving innocent bystanders from a rushing subway train to Loki's use of animating statues. For the most part though, it's updated with a more modern sensibility and gets rid of Loki's original and unexplained weakness to water and his ultimate capture.
