Arguing for a character does not make one a fanboy. I completely prefer Goku to Superman. The difference is massive. But Superman would kill Goku in a fight.

Not really. It is accepting the fact that my favorite characters and verses can always be beaten by someone or some verse than is stronger.

So IDK the proper term for that.

If I was a fictional character I'd hate to have you for a fan. When the ship goes down you need to be on it repping your character. Where's your loyalty ?

Now that's not to say you argue for your character against every comer but Goku and Superman is pretty much split down the middle and to concede victory over such a highly debated coin flip is mind boggling.
