Yeah, hard to argue with this. Assuming Izanagi would protect him from the Totsuka Blade(I'm not sure if it would or wouldn't), Itachi could probably last the 10 minutes. His genjutsu is far above Sasuke's so he should take this with possibly a little difficulty.

It doesn't hurt that fire trumps wind release. Vacuum may be a bit better than pure wind... but Sasuke showed how good flame worked against Baku.
