Galactus and Celestials are peers at best, if Galactus would lets say take on the fourth host, Galactus would of have did the samething like his counter part did in Paradise X. As where Galactus bust out some tech and open a can of whoop a$$, killing two or three Celestials. Truth be told Galactus absorbs TaaII energy it's game over for Celestials, and Galactus has new souvenirs, new toilet seat!

evening buddy smile

good point on ur first query tiamut has his vast reality warping powers and the celestials follow his command

galactus and celestials peers...its anyone's opinion

g using tech well

he remains one of marvels whipping boys but it is wat it is

a nice trophy well big g is powerful...tiamut/exitar/arishem/s.h.i.e.l.d celestial are also

In my opinion, they're above the Watchers and on par w/ Galactus. Probably above the cubes, i.e, Kubik and Kosmos as well. Above the Celestials? Obviously the big guns like Eternity, Infinity, LT and so forth.
I think they're also on par with an experienced + older Franklin Richards.

Kubik admitted this on panel to Kosmos on their tour of universal powers. Later, they were in fear of their lives at the impending judgment of a no name Celestial. All these were 616 versions too.

Yes, they appear to be.

And yep, young Franklin did look pretty scared. Not surprising. Although capable of immeasurable power and destruction, he's still (somehow) a human child. He eats, sleeps, wets the bed and so on.

I think if/when he transcends his humanity, as suggested way back in F4# 216, that's when he will truly be invulnerable or less vulnerable. Of course, that won't happen anytime soon though. From Marvel's perspective at least, what makes the character compelling is his ability to do virtually anything even though he's bound by vulnerabilities exhibited by most small children.

On a side note, Future (adult) Franklin looked calm as a cucumber.

respected points smile

celestials are above galactus my opinion

mad or otherwise

g will always b a whipping boy as marvel seeks fit, its a shame

eternity the same but he has recreated earth and yet sparring with hank pym didn't exactly keep the rep up

scathan>eternity answers that

scathan and lt not a debate i do yet happy being a fan of both

avatar, tattletale, grown and a kid frankie will b less powerful than the celestials in my humble opinion

Nope. These are previews of the first 3 pages from #604. It's out next week. There's more here: http://www.comicbookresources.com/?...le&id=37423

And yeah, even I wasn't expecting that!!!

I can see Franklin proving most powerful of all but there's gotta be something more than what we see in the previews. It's a bit anti-climactic if that was the end of the battle. I wonder if Franklin resurrects Galactus and talks trash after doing it? laughing

It's supposedly going to be a double-sized issue and that's only the 2nd page! So I'm sure the team will have their hands full with other challenges. Dr. Doom is also supposed to come back and do something important I believe. That prophecy hasn't come to pass yet. But yeah.. definitely wasn't expecting such a quick outcome with the Celestials! Franklin is boss! Once you see his eyes start glowing like that.. it's game over.

So much wrong with this thread.

First of all Celestials as a race have proven themselves more than anything else in Marvel let alone the IG.

Second.Galactus has "jobbed" so consistently in his career that it can't be considered jobbing but low power level. His job as a balance between Eternity and Death can be done by any planet destroyer.

And third.Looking at the poll there are 10 people that know something on every 37 clueless ones.

i told you before you told everyone LOL

"Galactus will either win or Franklin will take care of them" cause there was no viable way the Celestials could win and the 3 year story arc come to a close"

As a race, what have the Celestials proved below the Infinity Gauntlet. List them
