Jedi Lore tells you that it is one of a number of Sith manuscripts lost over time. Whilst of great archaeological significance, you wren;t aware it had any more importance than other lost records.
"I was in a position to inform Kuylen of a rumour I had heard- that the Scrolls were very particularly in what they recorded. They were not just a history; they were a comprehensive record of Sith victories, written so that Sith in future might learn from what benefited them before."

"He did not," says Saar. "Like I said, Kuylen minimised contact between his people and Adelmo's. All I know is that they went to look for the scrolls... and afterwards, they were no longer on speaking terms, and Kuylen had lost all interest in looking for the Syphar n Kalar."

If it documented Sith victories, it would make sense that the use of the Syphar N Kalar would be on there since it was the ultimate weapon and all that garbage.

Vera-Kin briefly wonders to herself if Saar is being deliberately vague or if he really only knows as much as he is sharing. She can't imagine Kuylen being very forthcoming with Saar about information, if Saar himself is not. Such is the Dark Side, so untrusting...

Or even more vague, it would list places where the SnK may have been used, victories the sith shouldn't have won, etc. At minimum it would give a list of battle sites to go and check out.
Re: Vera, I think so far everything is pretty reliable, it would be too easy to tell us lies and then have us check them out and have them be false. He wouldn't gain anything. However I AM willing to bet that there is more to the Kuylen/Adelmo relationship than he is letting on. Hell they could have been screwing for all we know...
"THough here is where it will get interesting for you," says Saar. "As it happens, there were three people that went on that journey. Two ard hard to find... one is more possible."

"Oh don't be ridiculous!" says Saar, with clear contempt. "Ascar ran his whole operation on the basis of isolation from Kuylen- he didn't want to be near him. All he did was sell him arteacts in return for information. That's why things were so tense when Kuylen turned up on Malastare demanding the astrolabe. There was no possibility that he was going to abandon that well-placed caution to go traipsing around with Kuyken, nor was Kuylen going to want him within parsecs of Adelmo.
"Random guesses are ill-becoming of a Jedi. Think mare carefully about what I meant."

Alright, so looking at what Saar has given us, we should be able to figure out who this third person is.
It is someone with a relationship with both Kuylen and Adelmo, Someone who would be of some use in the hunt for the SnK, or the Scrolls, and someone we could find more easily than either Kuylen or Adelmo.
Now, and I am trying not to guess wildly, but use evidence. But I am only thinking that its Garion, Kuylen's father.
The Evidence:
He should be able to be found (Although I don't know if he is still alive, but we've at least delt with 2 of his sons)
Obsessed with the SnK
Must have had SOME knowledge or relation to Adelmo, as she knew about his servant who died in the desert and who had the crystal (Although the light and dark stories are getting muddled so I don't remember how much of that is meta-game knowledge)
The problem is that I remember Kuylen being estranged from his father and essentially declared dead, as he was the heir, and heirs to Tasker's crown can't be jedi...
There also seems to be no other mention of Kuylen's interaction or relation to his father, even within the Zeiton episodes. Although it does stand to reason that Garion was not interested in Zeiton in the way Kuylen was, or they had a second falling out after this little expedition.
Geron is dead as a doornail- Anaz, who you met, inherited his title.
Actually you are looking at this the wrong way. It's not about finding suspects anywhere in the universe- it's about Saar being certain you know of the person.
