well Its atleast a way to side with the fans, so I don't see a problem with their decision because the casting certainly doesn't show any kind of fan consideration. Nobody cares about the fantastic four anyway. No real loss

I think Marvel should wait and see how the reboot goes before they take any drastic action. End of the day, all considerations aside, they have got a great screenwriter, great director and great actors involved in this reboot. But if it flops again then Fox will be willing let go of the property anyway because the franchise hasn't made any money for Fox since the first one.
But if it does well, then it's just one of those things like X-Men and Spider-Man. Not sure why Marvel are going so crazy to get FF back instead of say Spider-Man or the X-Men? Maybe because they just really want the Avengers to face off against Silver Surfer/Galactus.

lol. that's petty.
they could, ya know, just buy them out. Disney made nearly 2.5 billion in profits last year from their theme parks alone. They have more than enough money to buy the rights back if they want to.
They should so use that to buy back Spider-Man. Forget X-Men and FF for now. Spidey has always been the face of Marvel comics. Getting him back should be their top priority.
Besides, I wouldn't mind Marvel Properties divided between 2 companies- Disney and Fox. But divided between 3+ companies is just too much division.
With that attitude movies wont go anywhere as a huge portion of the comicbook fans are over the ages of 40..........Do not argue with me I have family that runs 4 movie complexes!

Spidey is more of the posterboy, sure (though an argument could be made that Wolverine has taken over that status in the last 15 years or so), but in regards to what Disney/Marvel is doing with the MCU, having the rights to X-Men is much more important.
there's no way Fox would turn down a $5 billion check.
True but now that Fox has finally started to put out decent Xmen flicks again, I think that its best that Disney leave them alone for now. However with FF shouldn't they just wait to see when the movie flops, yes I said when not if because I have 0 faith in this new project, and get it for cheap and stuff.
