Enough to know that Thor can take them with a smile.

I don't know why some of you are going on about being right and winning. Rob and Impediment were in on this gag because I PMed them. Silent and Rao PMed me and figured I changed the post. I highly doubt anybody thought Quan made the post, but simply played along just for the lulz.
I don't recall Thor having any bruises, do you have a sreen-cap?

Any proof that a fall would KO him? Unlike Thor, he doesn't get hurt by falls, evermind getting knocked unconscious. It's even pointed out that he was awake, after falling from the helicarrier. The old man says that he was awake when he fell and that is why he avoided any populated areas.
Hulk does often fall asleep before he transforms back to Banner, and that is all we saw.

Maybe Thor just has a high-end healing factor and the bruising didn't last long enough for us to see, Carver must have gotten his hands on a bootleg copy and watched the fight frame by frame.
Of course, a healing factor that good will make it almost impossible for the Hulk to beat Thor in HTH.

Personally, I like that Carver's new argument is basically that the Hulk seriously hurt Thor in their fight, it's just that Thor's healing factor is so good that we never noticed any injuries.
Following his logic, the Hulk has zero chance of beat Thor. I think we should all thank carver for being such a good Thor fan.

It's been a hilarious read though, certain fans of a mallet wielding hero have gone from disappointment to the absolute certainty that Thor will be 'done right' in the sequel and on to a sort of Normandy-esque attempt to storm the beaches of cinematic reality by reinterpreting the hell out of every and any scene involving the tool-merchant, never failing to stoop to dismissive and/or outright baseless speculation regarding the much hated Hulk.
In short, Hulk has well and truly smashed 'em!
The more they kick Carver, the angrier Hulk gets, one day he'll smash their faces through their monitors, directly from the pages of KMC!
I just find it ironic that you're claiming that there's this movement or whatever of people misintrepreting scenes and baseless speculations on the "pro-Thor" side or whatever but kinda gloss over the fact that you have people stating that Hulk would no sell Thor's lightning - which is pretty baseless in of itself.
Nevermind the fact that apparently Hulk held back the entire time, but Thor didn't....even though Thor clearly stated he didn't want to hurt Banner and was trying to redeem Loki in both those respective fights.
I understand what you mean, I just disagree with you as you are clearly quite biased.
To just deal with the example you highlight, "Thor's" lightning:
1) It was power taken from pre-existing clouds over the battlefield
2) It required the use of a whole building to store and discharge
3) It did little to no direct physical damage, instead taking effect by way of short-circuiting the engines of the carriers
That's just stuff you can observe and don't need to interpret.
Yet this is a "feat" supposedly rivalling Hulk's one-punch take-down of a carrier. Something which he did without any notable effort, as the literal +punchline+ to the conversation he was having with BW.
Thor's lightning was also shown to have little effect on IM's armour, which though not as strong and robust as the alien carrier, has sophisticated defences which allowed IM to amp from the lightning.
Hulk on the other hand, took a sustained barrage from over a dozen alien ships, without any damage (and no, a snotty nose does not equal damage).
There are orders of magnitude, obvious to any neutral between Thor's modest showings and Hulk's impressive ones.
1.) Which doesn't really matter as Thor can influence the weather to begin with. So whether the clouds are there to begin with or not is a moot point.
2.) Not really, and not true when you look at Thor's solo movie.
3.) See above.
Uh huh.
Thor ravaging the entire landscape of Jotunheim disagrees with you.
Not sure how Iron Man's suit being able to amp itself from Thor's lightning has anything whatsoever to do with how it would effect Hulk. At all. Unless Hulk has a suit of gamma armor he's wearing in the film.
A bloody nose doesn't constitute damage? Okay. That barrage was enough to halt Hulk for an extended period of time. Thor's taken blasts from Gungnir and the backlash explosion of the Bifrost being destroyed. The only real damage Thor took was from Loki's knife, which some are treating as a normal knife.
Maybe if you subscribe to the same misinterpretation that you're accusing other people of? I have no qualms with anyone thinking that Hulk is superior to Thor, but it's quite telling when someone claims the other side is rife with misinterpretation and bias while posting some of the stuff you just did. I mean, I hope at the very least you can admit to bias coming from the Hulk side instead of claiming it's all one sided. I certainly can attest to some of the Thor comments going too far.
