Because if you want to go that route and list all the stuff Gladiator took and endured, the feats Thor has trumps his by far.
Christ, man.
Like I said...if Ironman, Ms. Marvel, Captain Britain can get up "in the same comic" after an attack from Phoenix, an unquantifiable attack, I see no reason why Gladiator shouldn't be able to withstand it unless you truly believe these people are on or above Gladiator. Think Jake, just think man.

The times he's not looked good in this event is due to being outclassed by the Phoenix Force and its hosts, which isn't a bad thing. It just speaks to their power level.
Before AvX started, Thor took on two amped versions of Hulk and Thing while injured and beat them, fought the Demogorge and brought himself back to life, crushed an amped Ulik the fastest he's even done, and had his mettle tested in a cosmic brawl with the likes of Galactus, the Other, and Scrier.
Really, the only blemishes on Thor's record recently would be AvX (in which the opposition is clearly just more powerful than he is, not that he's somehow weaker than normally) and Avengers Assemble, which is a train wreck operated by Conductor Bendis.
He also got beat by that Zodiac minotaur easily.
He was also 0 for 2 against Tutinax.
He looked like shit in the Hulk Smash Avengers story as well.

They didn't get up at the same time Thor did, which is the whole god damn point. And they didn't have the capability to actual damage the Force.
Breaking it down:
-Thor shows better durability than Gladiator by dealing with the Force incarnate and is only KO'd and suffers minor burns. Conversely, Gladiator is beaten to a pulp and is in a dire coma.
-Offensively, Thor actually clips the Force's wing and forces it to flee. Conversely, Gladiator doesn't beat any of the P5 hosts.
Thor fared better than Gladiator did, on panel. Accept it and move on.

Avengers Assemble was already mentioned.
No argument there. Clearly Tutinax's best showing ever.
The same comic where Iron Man holds his own against Savage Hulk, yet gets beaten up by Gray Hulk who also manhandles Simon. Makes no sense at all. Especially since a more "current" Thor chronologically speaking beat an amped Hulk and Thing at the same time.
And none of those invalidate Thor's showings as a whole since JMS brought him back in 07 (which is a fair point to "count" current Thor). They certainly don't invalidate Thor's entire history.

So is Emma with the force>the full force? What about Cyclops with the force?

It should be noted even though you are correct and the other Avenger's did recover aswell, Thor was attacked twice:

Thor's damage soak has just been all round more impressive than Gladiators in this event and to be honest always has been.

^ Did Valkyrie use him as a shield? I think she tried to.
She was trying to save him but ended up getting caught in the attack aswell.
