That's toe to toe though and I fully admit toe to toe Hulk has the advantage, although Thor still got his licks in. I just don't see what Hulk could do if Thor whipped him up in a tornado "Destroyer" style. If Thor fights Hulk like he's a Destroyer level that then Thor wins.
Technically Thor destroyed more Leviathons. He was also the only Avenger not shown to be getting overwhelmed by the Chitari. And technically Black Widow saved the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers with the staff.
To be fair TH3 hasn't actually seen the movie, so him not knowing that Thor took out more Leviathons is understandable.

I don't know why some of you are going on about being right and winning. Rob and Impediment were in on this gag because I PMed them. Silent and Rao PMed me and figured I changed the post. I highly doubt anybody thought Quan made the post, but simply played along just for the lulz.
the discussion kinda ended but just to prove another point...if you want take whedons words about hulk as literal, you should take his on thor as literal as well. so according to "word of god", while nobody can go up against the hulk..thor is the strongest. this is just to further prove not to take everything he says as exact.
I give that fight to Thor more than Hulk honestly. The dude landed way more hits, and the one hit Mjolnir got on Hulk almost KOed the dude. Thor was making Hulk look like a younger sibling in the beginning when he was dodging and punching (one punch made Hulk do a full 360 from the force). Thor put out way more damage that fight, and almost had Hulk unconscious. All that was in an enclosed area and almost completely without the hammer. That fight in no way went to Hulk.
The ending fight also had Thor put in more work than anyone. He killed the most Leviathans, was the only Avenger to be shown to not be overwhelmed by the Chitauri, and was shown to be the main powerhouse of the team.
Could you imagine if they were outside and Thor had the full range of his abilities at his disposal? Could you imagine if Thor had the hammer the entire fight in the Helicarrier? It would be a full on stomp.
EDIT: Wow. Newjak actually noted a lot of my points, almost word for word. Way to be on it.

Well I meant, even if they have no further plans at present and do kill him off, they have an easy "out" to bring him back in the future should plans change.
