Holy shit, Ultron looks and sounds awesome. Thank god for a legit villain this time around. Hopefully, the final fight wont be in the city again. Go confront Ultron in a super high tech base in Antarctica or something at the end.
I hope this serious tone sticks in the actual movie and isnt another Iron Man 3, pretty hyped about the movie.
Also, is it me or does QuickSilver not seem fast enough in these? Like in every shot where they show him in slow motion to represent his speed, every body else in the frame is moving somewhat slower, not like at a complete standstill.
He's probably around the same speed as Peters, but due to this being a "team effort", they might not showcase his speed as much as FOX's Quicksilver due to him being a solo act within the team. They just wanted to show him off for the few scenes he was in, then they tossed him. And it's no secret he stole the show while he was on screen.
They probably don't want anyone to shine too heavily, so they might not show off with him as much.

not really a bad thing in relation to being faithful to the source material. I'm not a huge Quicksilver buff, but the people i know who are say he was op in DoFP.
He's been way beyond DoFP fast for a pretty long time. Even back in the 90's or early 00's, Magneto fought a group of X-Men with Northstar in it. And he flat out stopped Northstar's speedblitz and said Quicksilver was a lot faster than him.
Ultimates had him hitting Mach 10 when he was a teenager.
I agree with you, weak villians (both in terms of character and powerset) is one of the reasons i dont hype the MCU highly, Villians make or break comicbook movies for me, so far the MCU had really trashy villians, the only good one is Loki, and he was a pushover so far.
The Avengers needed spotlight on the heroes, as they were meeting for the first time. Now that the heroes are an established team, the spotlight can be shifted to a menacing villian that tears the team apart AKA ultron
