The Streroid Soldier armed with only a shield against armed men is a ridiculous concept IN REAL LIFE, is even more stupid looking in live action.
That kind of thing only works in comics.

It's sci-fi bro. Movies don't have to be realistic

Going to resurrect this for the purpose of saying that I think Cap 2 was amazing and arguably the best of the Marvel movies. Loved it.

I like the character and Evans does a great job with him, but damn this movie was great. Pierce and HYDRA were great baddies too; loved how they didn't fvck around like most comic book villains.

This is objectively better than The Avengers, or anything Joss Whedon has done.

Which is objective. Admit it. Winter Soldier is to The Avengers what The Dark Knight is to 60's campy Bat-tv show.

Whedon's work isn't defined by the Avengers - it's just his most expensive project.
Serenity, Firefly and certain episodes of Buffy/Angel are pure masterpieces. The quality of Avengers pales in comparison.
I would agree with your subjective assertion that WS is better than the Avengers. But it's certainly not better than some of Whedon's other work IMO. Trust me, althoug it doesn't seem like it Whedon's a ****in genius

Your going to have to excuse Firefly as you can see by his icon.
Anyways, I love Whedon's work, but I'd put Cap 2 above most of his work.

I loved Cap 2, but there are very few movies/shows that beat Doctor Horrible, Firefly, Serenity, select Angel/Buffy episodes imo.
I would even say Cabin in the Woods > Cap 2 imo in terms of enjoyment.
That said, Cap 2 > Avengers. I'm willing to admit that, as I'm not completely biased

My opinion is so objective it's a valid citation. I can provide it to you in MLA format if you'd like.

Firefly was a mediocre show with mediocre writing that got by on its snappy dialogue and occasional defiance of tropes though.

Firefly was decent, Angel was his crowning achievement on TV.

Sounds like the opening argument of a debate between Hannah Montana and Mit Romney over the legality of abortion
