Ok, maybe someone has already brought this up and I missed it, but one thing that bugged me about the film is the Weapon X guys conveniently having power nullification tech. We had Leech in X3, which was the explanation there. But here it's just like, "BTW we have technology that can shut down mutants... but we only plan on using it on a bunch of people Stryker has a gripe with... but not on the crazy mutant weapon running through the facility, killing everyone, or the god-like mutant trying to destroy the planet."

I just read on wiki that Apocalypse was shunned to the astral plane when Jean let go, but it showed Apocalypse before that in the astral plane breaking into many pieces, meaning he was concentrating 100% in the earthly plane after that. I took it when the last we see of him Jean killed him. What do you think? Btw I find it amazing his body is still healing after all he's went through, Jean had to let go all the way to kill him!

So just out of curiosity, why do you feel the people who killed his family showed up at his home? Can you explain that to me? Do you feel it was just random?

Watched it today, it was good overall other than Mystique being everywhere simply because her actor was famous. As for the biggest problem of the movie, I think a powerful villain like Apocalypse requires more than 1 movie and a post credit scene to set up and finish the arc.
The post credit scene got me excited, we FINALLY got to see Mr. Sinister. Was he going to clone Jean, or Wolverine? Also, was Mr. Sinister behind the Future Sentinel's design, this could explain why those Sentinels were out of control and got the ability to absorb the DNA the Mystique.
He looks a little... slim there. The white makeup part of the face would've been closer looking to the character than the blue that we got though, but what's with all the black?
Hard to say how much of that is true right now, but it would explain a lot, about the nature of this version of Apocalypse & his powers and Jean/Phoenix...
I could totally buy that this Apoc is tied to the Shi'ar rather than Celestials, given whom has the rights to what in these films.
Wouldn't go as far as to say that what we got was unrecognizable as Apocalypse but even if I were to, the same could be said about like the Sentinels in DoFP, who looked very different from the mutant hunting robots we'd normally see, especially the ones in the future.
