No, it's the belief of 2.2 billion Christians in the world (which is about one third of the total population of the planet).
It is God's belief after all He prepared the everlasting fire for the devil and his angels--not people.
It is Jesus' belief since one of the reasons He died was to redeem humanity from that place of torment.
Neither One of Them are capable of lying, so Hell exists.
Lord Jesus stated in Mark 9:43-47,

43 If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having two hands, to go to Hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched— 44 where
‘Their worm does not die
And the fire is not quenched.’
45 And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life lame, rather than having two feet, to be cast into Hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched— 46 where

Hell is so terrible that Lord Jesus said that if your hand, foot, or eye is causing you to sin to cut them off, and pluck it out because it is better to enter life (i.e. eternal life in Heaven) maimed (if that were possible but it's not) than having two hands, or two feet, or two eyes to be cast into Hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.
So, Hell is a real place, not just my belief.
Isn't it interesting that just in the natural realm (i.e. physically speaking, as opposed to spiritually speaking), that the deeper you go down into the earth the hotter it gets?
That's just in the natural.
And that's a fact.
