Part two made more than part three unlike Iron Man. Go marvel go.
Well, that is undeniable. Marvel's plan was to expand their universe as to generate interest in all of their properties. It was a resounding success. Heath ledgers death was an unfortunate accident.
I don't dc hate I hate their decisions thus far. Big difference. It is true I prefer marvel but I loved the Batman films especially Batman Begins.
Due to the third one being better IMO. Most of the sheep liked the second one more here in America due to a lemming like mentality. The outcome was very close unlike Iron Man 3 compared to part two.
They're not copying them. WB/DC planned a Superman/Batman movie years ago. Marvel did not invent the "shared universe" on the big screen idea.
However if you say Marvel has motivated WB/DC to get on with things, then yeah I'd agree with you there. But in that sense both Fox and Sony are also "copying" Marvel also. Marvel have basically made the "shared universe" thing the new trend many other studios will try to follow.
Well it made the huge jump from Batman Begins to TDK. A bit difficult though to keep making that jump once you pass the Billion mark. What's more important is that it actually managed to surpass the Billion mark twice.

LOL. People like the second one more because it was one of the best films ever made (and personally the best theater experience I've ever had), using Batman, Joker, and Two Face to masterful effect to portray the abstract philosophical concepts of Order vs Chaos and the thin line between them.
TDKR was just a popcorn superhero flick. Of course you, who likes the simplistic Abrams ST rather than the philosophical OS and TNG, would think TDKR is better.
[SPOILER - highlight to read]: It's not. It's REALLY not
I agree with you there. If the Batman/Superman movie had the Nolan Batman played by Bale, that would guarantee it being one of the biggest movies of all time.
Unfortunately Nolan designed that Batman to be in a world where super powered beings don't exist, and was adamant that it just be the 3 films.
Still I'm sure the Batman/Superman movie will make a Billion dollars WW even without Nolan and Bale.
Hey I hated that decision too. But without Nolan on board it wouldn't have been Nolan's Batman. They would at the very least need to get Bale on board for people to think it's Nolan's Batman. To get him back would mean paying him shit loads of money, which tbh Bale by himself might not be worth.
Plus there's the problem that Nolan's Batman was made for the real world. If his Batman can't even beat a non-super powered Bane, then how's it going to be believable that he has the means to take on anyone in the Justice League?
Anyway, hopefully the hype and popularity Nolan has built for Batman will filter through as excitement for the Batman/Superman movie.
