. Magneto was hitting him with large metal beams as hard as he could. That's gotta be close. And Shaw was straight-up toying with that, even after being loaded up with a nuclear reactor (which can power a ship for years).
In any case, you were probably kidding?

The two may be able to work together to drown him or something like that, but that's it. Or they could sit down and refuse to fight and not give him any energy while they play chess with Magneto and it would be a tie.

He was gradually absorbing the power from the generator.

And you can't compare those beams to a Leviathan punch.

He means Shaw had already absorbed an extreme amount of energy, but was still taking (absorbing) Magneto's hits like nothing.
