FTL as a kid??? Where the **** did this come from? He was hit by attacks that were clearly visible to the naked eye and his own attacks were dodged by others as well so he was not FTL at all.
Too bad most of the Super Buu fight in the anime was filler (Which Akira Toriyama had nothing to do with since he didn't create the anime) and posts like yours make me embarrassed to be a fan of Dragon Ball. It's no wonder why Dragon Ball gets looked down upon on most VS. forums. The DBtards make the fan base look bad.

Lol. The south galaxy was NOT destroyed. I've debunked this myth a few times in the past, but I guess I'll do so again...
While Goku was IT'ing through the south galaxy, we saw him streaking past stars: (please log in to view the image)
If stars were left intact, the galaxy was not destroyed.
Once Goku arrived on one of the planets Broly caused surface-level damage to, not only do we see another intact planet in the background, but we also see multiple stars in the background as well: (please log in to view the image)
If planets were left intact, the galaxy was not destroyed.

Hundreds/thousands of stars in the background+the planet itself. If planets and stars were left intact, the galaxy was not destroyed.
So how do we explain Movie 8's opening sequence, in which the south galaxy is seemingly destroyed in one fell swoop? Simple: we refer back to King Kai's statement in the original(and most canon) Jap-dub of the film, wherein he states the south galaxy would eventually be destroyed IF Broly weren't stopped--not that it already had been destroyed(as the less canon english-dub suggests.) Simple.
And this is all secondary to that fact that IF Broly destroyed the south galaxy, he would have had to do so as a RESTRAINED-SSJ(which was the most powerful form he could assume while being mind-controlled), because he NEVER went LSSJ until he battled the Z fighters toward the end of the film. This is important because Goku was able to contend equally with restrained-SSJ Broly as a base-level Saiyan--so if restrained-SSJ Broly is a galaxy-buster(iYo), then you must be prepared to call base-level Goku a galaxy-buster as well, given that they were equals.
...And considering that even as of BoG, base-level Goku's PL was still <[ie. LESS THAN]120m, I find it laughable to assume that he(and/or those in that tier) was a galactic power--especially YEARS earlier, when he would've logically been much weaker.

Go suck a railroad spike. You're just jealous of how smart I am.
Few things here.
First off, the Broly argument in itself is retarded. It's a non-cannon movie, and doesn't fit in the plot, unless we're to assume that in the ten days before the Cell games, they fought android 13 and LSSJ Broly.
Anyway though, we can't judge Goku's full power level in base form from a single statement given by Bills, who presumably can't even sense ki in the first place, who was just seeing a concealed Goku who wasn't flaring or using any ki at all. That would be even more ridiculous than saying future Trunk has a power level of 5, just because the scouters used by Frieza's men said so.
Anyway, Goku is a galaxy buster in base form. At least so. Since you want to bring in power levels, let's talk about how Goku was stronger than Kid Buu in SSJ3, who was stated to be around equal to Buuhan in the anime, and Buuhan could destroy every reality/all of creation/the multiverse, by shouting. Scaling that down to base form, that makes him at least a galaxy+ buster in base form.
There are tons of other supporting examples from the series, but you sound like a DBZ fan, so you should probably know them.

The only way Broly is a galaxy buster is by ignoring all pieces of spoken and visual evidence in the film in favour of a single image, while ignoring the voiceover during the image, its inconsistencies and things that make it impossible.

This is, without question, one of the dumbest things I have ever seen posted. People going full-retard in this forum why I stopped frequenting it, iirc(which is a shame, because I really enjoy debating DBZ/GT *intelligibly*.)
Anywho, I guess your post helps explain this: (please log in to view the image)
...So I'll leave it at that. See you in a few weeks.
It honestly cannot be broken down any further(or clearer) than I did above. Restrained-SSJ Broly was not a galaxy-buster. The evidence is irrefutable.

Broly probably didn't outright destroy the Galaxy (good post Galan) but he did cause major destruction to one which was stated on panel. Then he did this at his base form. Wasnt even a super Saiyan. That's a ft that easily puts him above trans tier (unless you can name me a trans that can devastate a Galaxy like Broly did at his weakest). At full Super Saiyan, he can easily be considered skyfather.
Aaaahhhhh. So that is why we see the devastation of a Galaxy? He might didn't completely destroy it but he damaged the hell out of one though. That can not be refuted.
