Well even if Superman handled it by murdering him with his bare hands, something he does not do -cough- Nolan -cough-, Sentry got his brain splattered by Thor and regenerated immedietly after. He is for all intention and purposes, immortal.

In this picture we see more of the earth to get a better comparison of their size. Exitar appears to be taller than the earth but the earth is wider.

The earth looks wider per that vantage point. But, I'm not so sure that it is per other pictures.

Exitar size varies depending on the artist

I guess for the purpose of this thread he has to be the size depicted in this comic.

Still Exitar's will fit in a prometean giant hand, but sizes in comics are mostly and often different.

Actually the feat was more than it seems. Exitar's decent was not only powered by his weight but his force of flight. They overpowered HIS POWER to descend. Now I don't know how much power he has for flight purposes but I would say at least a couple of Earth weights worth.

It starts to get dicey when one tries to out too much real world physics in that kind of feat.

Can't we just call it as it is? Death Sentry provided one-half of the equation that held off a planet sized Exitar's descent, while matching the power output of virtually all the earth's heroes(or close to it).

How has this ridiculous thread reached three pages of discussion?

Sentry is the most useless written character of all of comics. He is the absolute definition of a plot tool.

Death Sentry wins 10/10

Wtf are you even talking about? Let's put aside the fact that Exitar is larger than Earth.

Exitar is a Celestial and was described as the greatest source of energy in creation in this issue.

How is struggling to stop even a passive movement of such a being a low showing?

I mean, I get Abhils motivations, lowballing because of Superman, but why are you being dense?

Yeah, he clearly fell on the planet without any force. You can tell by the glowing and large explosion:

Zop, a Celestial can break a universe with a punch. How the hell it is a low showing for Marvel heroes ?

And Hulk never stoped Exitar. He, with the help of a machine, was unable to stop Exitar.

And agree with h1...Exitar was doing some strengh there. Of course it was not all he strengh, but the feats was way more than just support his weight.

Of course I can. And I'm just returning the favor as you did on Superman saying only darkseid could destroy a world.

thumb up

Of course you can what? Did you reply to the wrong post?

I wasn't even in this thread. I must have some prime real estate in your head. You keep making random attempts at me when I'm not even present.

laughing out loud

Superman did say that. Was it said Exitar used no force? No? Okay. smile

I was just saying random things in this thread to random people, not about you. Your avi and sig say that you have a pretty inferiority complex about me though.

Although I did laugh at your sig about an indian boy. Such a petty and laughable move. Man, you're a sad fanboy.

Random things to random people? You just said you were returning the favor to me specifically over some discussion weeks ago.....

Now we're talking about sigs? Lol, you've had that Thor/Superman sig for how long now and you don't see me whining about it like a baby. And it's clearly made in an attempt to provoke a response.

Lol, guess mine did strike a nerve but at least mine was funny. Don't worry bro, I'll be more sensitive to your feelings from now on. thumb up

Anyway, now that we've established that your earlier statements were the equivalent of random gibberish directed at me somehow out of spite and your points have no real merit, I'm done with this conversation.

I didn't even participated in any debate on that scene. I was just responding to some random people in this thread.

You're whining right now. And its not about an out of context scene. Superman beat Thor.

I will too. Want me to remove me the sig about poor Thor eating dirt?

Haha, the world doesn't revolves around you.

Anyway, the whole marvel earth is made of pansies. Not even slowing down a planetary being? ****ing lulz.

He admitted he doesn't believe what he posts and does it to stir people up. Doesn't get much clearer than that.
