It was defo a fun movie, and both Deadpool and Colossus were portrayed brilliantly. but I feel like you might be over selling it personally. In terms of fun comic book movies I'd still rank GOTG above this.
I'm joking but I had WAY more fun in Deadpool than Gotg and that's N astounding feat.
My favorite comic book movies list has done some shuffling but this is it now
1. The Avengers
2. V for Vendetta
3. The Crow
4. Deadpool
5. Batman Begins
I thought GOTG was a better movie. After awhile I got tired of some of the humor in Deadpool. Still, a solid movie. Not sure it would make it in my top 10. Definitely top 15, though.
If you're problem with the movie is its humor you don't understand Deadpool. He's a character that filters his pain through humor. The reason it works is because it's not one dimensional you can through the humor at certain points and there's love, fear, anger and things everyone relates with.
I know who Deadpool is. I know that's the character. He was my favorite character along side Wolverine in the 90's and I have fond memories of the 90's mini series with Fabian Nicieza, but some of the jokes didn't hit with me.
The success of this film will more than likely make some of the studios take a second look at what other R-rated comic properties potentially could be adapted. Which means we are likely to get even more comic book films in the coming years than we'd anticipated up until this point.

This was great, definitely will watch a second time on the big screen. Reynold's isn't a great actor, but he nailed this (as expected).
As noted above, this making record numbers on a relatively smaller budget and it being R is great news for other potentially R hero-flicks, eg remake of Blade and Punisher.
Punisher is on TV now and Blade will probably join Punisher on TV if he shows up at all. I doubt Marvel is going to invest in another Blade/Punisher movie when it doesn't fit their narrative agenda and they have so many other properties to focus on.
There's been talks of the Punisher making another film debut as early as mid 2015 and with the success of this R flick, that talk is likely only to get louder
