I'm gonna say Robert Downey Jr is perhaps one of the most iconic actors in the Marvel Casting. Hugh Jackman as Wolverine was right up there, even though Jackman isn't a Canadian shorty :P Then again Patrick Stewart as Xavier was called long before it actually happened. Was starting to be fan inserted as the character as far back as season 2 of Star Trek NG.
I'm just mad that they nerfed IG Thanos to the point where Peter Quill basically had to ruin the plan to make Thanos actually win. If Quill wasn't even on Titan, or if Thanos had killed him earlier, the universe halving snap could have been avoided altogether.
I just thought it was totally idiotic of Starlord, and made me really disappointed in his character. It made his death feel almost deserved, despite him being one of my favorite characters in the MCU so far.

Yeah, I think people are being way too harsh on him. He had a perfectly reasonable, in-character reaction to a situation, and seriously, if it had been someone Tony or Peter loved, are we really going to believe they would have been any different?
It wasnt that he reacted. It was the stupidity of his reaction. They were already trying to put Thanos down. All he did was help the guy who murdered his girl Win.
In any case, Thanos would have won regardless given Dr.Stranges peak into multiple futures.
Guardians suck I was glad to see him bite the dust at the end

I think these may be the same people who leave before the credits. Given how well the movie has done at the box office, I think the down-ending aspect is what will affect it's box office total - while the spectacle is great to witness, the rewatchability is a bit low.
Not yet. It's still ongoing, and now Comcast is trying to buy up Fox. Not that it would stop Marvel getting the rights as they go back to Disney either way, but it does mean potentially more time involved.
