You were not joking, you got ahead of your skis, and now are trying to cover your ass by saying it was a joke. Sorry, no one is buying it, and now you just look and sound stupid.
You also re affirmed your first statement with your second, by repeating it. Which is incredibly dumb.
It’s a good movie. Great cast. Jordan to me stood out by far than everyone else. Every the main character has nothing on him. Music was pretty good. It was a mix of African music, and western. But again, killermongers theme blows Panther theme out the water.
The fights were good. Could have been better. No fall out we’re shown about what happened to the other side.
Klaue was a ****ing right though. For his small screen time, I was laughing my ass off.
The elders were stupid. They did nothing to prove why they were chosen to lead. Only one with mentioning was White Ape.
The military don’t care who rules, they’ll follow any rules. The only one that weren’t mindless where Panther’s personal squad.
In the end, I’ll give a 7/10.
Go in there to enjoy youreself. Nothing more, nothing else.
For anyone that did see the movie, any theories as to why in the Avengers trailer, [SPOILER - highlight to read]: Wakanda is being attacked? I didn't see any mention of the soul stone being in Wakanda, and while sure, you could say that Thanos attacks everywhere, it's an awfully strong defensive force protecting it. You guys think he wants the vibranium, or that we'll be told they have the soul stone during the movie?.
Don't think it's [SPOILER - highlight to read]: the soul stone. From the trailers I think it might have to do with Vision. You see vision in a cage of some kind, then in another scene he is injured with Cap and Black Widow. Then there is that scene where they are trying to extract the gem from his head.
Since we see Cap and Widow in Wakanda in that big battle scene , maybe they are after the mind gem. Shrug.
Also another theory of mine after watching BP , is that in the future when Downey Jr. Retires, Shurri could be a good candidate to take Tony's place. She has the tech know how.
I predict BP will rise very quickly then drop fairly fast. Its a good movie but there is to much hype to make a 1 billion plus movie out of it. Bad news already foreign sales look horrible atm. A true sign of a good movie is a 50/50 foreign and domestic rating. Movies like wonder woman did well everywhere. I think the political push to make this the greatest movie in comicbook history turned off the foreign sales and will jack the first week sales up in America, it will probably drop fairly quick though by week 2, and not even recover in the foreign states, but who knows.
