So as expected, Vegeta didn't transform into a SSJ3 when he raged-out. On top of that, we don't even get to see him fight Beerus until next week.
Fat Boo was humiliated repeatedly, which was actually nice to see--his portrayal in DBS has been akin to a petulant child thus far. I cannot stand him.
All of the Z Fighters' performances against Beerus were even more embarrassing in this episode than they were in BoG:
-Beerus treated SSJ Vegeta like a cowardly piece of shit, and [literally] walked all over him like he'd done to his father years prior... But at least Vegeta will get a bit of redemption in the next episode.
-Beerus owned Tien/Piccolo/#18 with a simple kiai.
-Gotenks stayed in his base level. He never even turned into a regular ol' SSJ--nevermind SSJ3, lol.
-Beerus owned Shin Gohan by slapping him with Fat Boo. Gohan never even got to throw a punch.
Suffice to say: I'm kind of disappointed. This episode just reconfirms what we had already figured: Toriyama doesn't give a shit about anyone who isn't named Goku or Vegeta. Meh...

Aye... Am tired now of hearing Vegeta fans complain even (regarding Resurrection F or anything) when everyone else still has it infinitely worse.
Guess my favorite part of episode 7 was Piccolo, 18, and Tien going at Beerus all at once. The fighting looked better on their part than in the movie at least.

So since the DBS anime represents the highest form of canonicity right now, its happenings supersede ALL. IOW, BoG and the DBS manga have been retconned. Officially, Beerus only fought BASE Gotenks.

If fans of other such characters came off as loud as Vegeta fans, I wonder how much better treatment they would or might have gotten... Of course, when Toriyama pulls that statement/explanation out of his ass about Roshi, I guess anything's possible.
I liked how they portrayed it in DBS. The movie made the z-fighters seem stupid and out of character. Especially Piccolo. DBS portrayed the z-fighters much better. And really showed how powerful Beerus is.
Yep. I liked it as well. I know one thing, Beerus is durable as hell. He stood in one spot and tanked punches from fat Buu and Gotenks. That's pretty got darn beastly. Seems like the show isn't following the Manga though. I thought Chumpa (think I said his name right) was suppose to show up this episode?
This, and using something like that as a means of applying pressure points isn't really new to me, so eh...
If an enraged SSJ2 Vegeta could damage Beerus a little, whose to say an angered SSJ3 Gotenks couldn't of done the same after having his mom slapped? Not having him do/attempt anything beyond his base form is just a waste, regardless.
And uh, no one was questioning Beerus's ability to beat the Z-fighters at full power. Would've been nice though to see some of them besides Vegeta do a little something to him before that though.
With the kind of potential saiyans in general tend to have, why would the 'rage boost' only be exclusive to Vegeta? lol Heck, it used to be Gohan's shtick for the longest time.
Who knows? But SSJ3 Goku was down worse than any of them with a casual flick and chop to the neck.
It isn't about the Z fighters being downplayed, their performances against Beerus were too good if anything. It's just that Vegeta was ridiculously powerful in this one; far moreso than pre-God Goku.
