Oh yeah, I was looking at metacritic. I generally don't look at RT because they include a lot of shit reviewers who write for some random website that no one reads, where as metacritic is a bit more strict as to who gets included in their aggregate.
At the time MC only had one fully negative review, now it has two, out of 53.
Either way, solid reviews for the most part. Looking forward to the movie.
Going tonight and I'm looking forward to "detective Batman', we've not had a lot of that in the live action films, be a welcome change and it touches back to Batman's roots.
Agreed.
Def. better than any of the Nolan movies which I never liked.
Pattinson wasn’t the best Batman I’ve ever seen but he wasn’t the worst (again the Nolan movies get the nod w. Bale). All in all a pretty decent movie experience.
I honestly think Batman Begins is a better film, but I have no problem with anyone saying the new one is better than Rises.
I think Pattinson was pretty good too. If they keep going, I could see him really carving out a name for himself as a top-tier Batman. My only issue with him is that I can't see him playing a Batman in his mid 30s. He looks too young for me. Like Tom Holland but not as extreme.
Oh, thanks for asking, no. Not really, not YET anyway! Just moving with 2 kids and turning old house into an Airbnb, so a bit risky, but hopefully will pay off soon..
Was a decent film. But I didnt like his Bruce Wayne. Much prefer the Bale/Affleck take where he pretends to be a care free playboy, but actually helps Gotham out as Bruce Wayne as well.
Yeah, though I hope that [SPOILER - highlight to read]: the amount of times they referenced it (and let's be fair it really wasn't subtle, affecting the plot and all), shows that the plan if there was a second film, is for him to grow as Bruce.
Yeah I was just hoping for a scene at the end to show that. As like you say that seemed to be the direction they were going, but he [SPOILER - highlight to read]: just went on about how he needs to be Batman even at the end
