Anyways speaking of voting..obviously not everyone in this country who can legally vote actually does vote. This is the reasons in recent years we've had "rock the vote" campaigns and "vote or die" campaigns.
During this election season I've heard more people say they just aren't going to vote because there aren't any good candidates then I have in any past election. I wonder if we will see a record number of people not voting?
Or will it be the opposite? Will the spectacle of this election perhaps cause people to vote who normally wouldn't?

This upcoming vote actually has unfortunate timing when it comes to my neighborhood. Since you have people who go around the neighborhood ringing everyone's doorbell and putting voting information in their mailbox, etc.
Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but we've had a string of robberies in the neighborhood and apparently they start by the person ringing the doorbell and if nobody answers they assume nobody is home and break in. Or if someone does answer as soon as they open the door they try to force their way inside. So now I'm basically paranoid about even answering the door. Except if I don't they might think nobody is home and break in anyways.

For me it's been the opposite. Everyone I know said it's their duty to go to the polls considering that this election will essentially decide the course for America's future. Trump has convinced A LOT of people that his election into office is essentially the apocalypse, and they will cast every vote possible to stop him. That's why I doubt hell get elected. He may have the passion of his support base, but many others consider him the antichrist.
Trump has never said one thing about Black people, quit making up bullshit. Black lives matter is he ones who started a fight with him. He is just trying to tell the minority communities in chicago that liberals have given all their jobs away with these awful trade deals.

BLM is about equal rights for all minorities, including the 23 million Hispanics and Muslims Trump says he wants to deport.
And he may have not spoken against blacks directly, but he's spoken against Muslims, and there are many African Americans of the Muslim religion. I know this for a fact because my dad is one of them. So yeah.
