Your explanation relies on Spot not fighting to the best of his ability (so against forum rules), Spiderman not punching (even though his spots have been shown to outreact Spiderman from nearly point blank range) and....some other mental gymnastics.
I mean, if I argued that in character Hulk does not go Worldbreaker in the VAST majority of his appearances, and all high end feats are inadmissible because they rely on an incredibly angry Hulk....you'd be crying.
