Erads is a mid Herald but I lose 90% of his power. Hulk is a mid Herald but I lose 100% of his power. Doom was bumped up to Mid Herald but Black Adam stays at Mid even though an argument can be made of him pulling a majority against Thor and Superman (the guy has a solid record against High Heralds, fight teams on a regular basis...high Herald strength, durability, speed, etc...he doesn't have a single low showing. Punched through the head of freaking Spectre, ripped Amazo head clean off. The list goes on and on. Hell, Superman said the guy punch harder than Marvel and he couldn't even move him out of the city block ). Magneto remained at Low Herald even though the guy has mid Herald ft. I'll just stay with Doom and Wonder Woman but my choices were looked at carefully, don't think everyone else's picks were examined.

lol to play carv's advocate, i might very well take adam in a battle over eradicator (minus fortress)....

anyway, these should be a couple of pretty interesting battles. pretty should the combo of aquarian and an imperiex probe is the flat out weirdest combo ever drafted.

I move for another extension of the draft, but mostly to examine the picks of others because at this point it seems like I'm being hamstrung by serious bias. Everybody jumped at the chance to knock out anything close to a questionable pick and totally ignored any objections I made to anyone else. Omega Vulcan is still being classed as low herald even though Digi and Scoobs both acknowledged a serious case could be made him being mid herald. Black Adam's still viable even though he routinely goes toe to toe with high heralds. And Imperiex probes are being drafted even though they were shaking off damage from high heralds. All these guys have feats beyond depowered Surfer and everyone all over him even though no one could point to anything he did that was beyond people in the low herald tier and no one said anything when Id mention Eradicator till I picked him.

But I don't get how you were personally slighted. Doom was being argued to be high herald yet you still have him, same can be said for Wonder woman due to her feats. You must have seen the rule that prevented you from getting Eradicator but somehow wanted him anyway so where's the issue?

The light being put on you isn't something I can fix

Ah, the carver conundrum.

If probes are High Heralds, and Superman was tearing through them, that makes Superman Trans/Skyfather level.

Let's ask carver what he thinks about the probes:

That basically poops all over defeating the SS.

And none of those people are as powerful as Surfer, Hulk, Thor, Black Adam, etc... they are impressive but they are not in that tier and before you say Wonder Woman is, she probably is 'close' to them which is the reason she cracked the Probe armor.

I'm not trying to take the light off me, I'm trying to extend things so that the light can be shined on others. Also, full powered Cable is a mid Herald matter manipulator.

I understand that but you got things to change before, some say to your benefit so naturally you get attention when you pick stuff by the looks of it.

Cable was already drafted before so that's probably why he got through unnoticed till you wanted Eradicator, and the way ID wrote the rule ties my hands.

I didn't ask for the rules to change, someone else brought up the idea of a randomized second round and I agreed it was a good idea. All I did was scrutinize DSs picks and he proceeded to complain to no end then people decided the randomized draft was a good idea when it became evident that I was about to swap drafts too. And my complaints were valid enough to at least be examined. Scoobs agreed that Bizarro should be in the same tier as Supes and he and Digi both said Vulcan should prob go to mid herald.

I understand that I'm the last person anyone wants to lose to, but I shouldn't have to work twice as hard as everyone else as far as drafting goes just to stay in the running in this thing. You're the tourney host so if you can see the double standards being dealt out in my direction you should call them on it.

Scoobs didn't agree, and even if he did, NOBODY ELSE DID. We never voted. So in a pool of eight, not including judges and interested third parties, clinging to that is asinine.

My draft of Bizarro etc wasn't dropped because it was over the tier.

If we hadn't randomised (thanks to your whining), id have kept it.

OMG DS...

(Unable to quote ,debating from my phone). Here's Scoob lost right here...

Doom is Mid, WW is Mid, Vulcan could be Mid, Bizarro... should probably be in the same tier as Superman.

Match hasn't started yet...

It's not, just having a few life things get in the way for the moment, it's all still on.

He DID agree. And I'm no longer trying to make the case that he shouldn't have been drafted. I'm saying that it was valid enough to be examined and wasn't simply "whining" as you say. If anything YOU were the one whining because I was questioning your picks and was ready to redraft myself.

The point is, I didn't demand a change to the rules I only questioned a draft... and I was totally allowed to do that. The rules were changed because it became evident that the second round was going to a huge mess of counterdrafting.

Cool. My writeup's done, and I shall see you on the battlefield! Am assuming, PG, that rules stay the same vis-a-vis prep time (i.e. raise shields, nothing more)?

Yes. It's the best method due to the busted code

We didn't revisit that issue in between rounds so as of now it's still the same as before.
