I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE SALMON!!!
THERE IS ONE MATRIX.
ONE ONE ONE ONE ONE ONE ONE ONE ONE ONE ONE ONE ONE ONE ONE ONE ONE ONE ONE ONE ONE ONE ONE ONE ONE ONE ONE ONE ONE ONE *WHEEESE* .
and when you learn it in november. i will use your fish to beat you.
Okay, will give you 3 areas where choice is a factor in the first film. Listen to the bollocking Mr.Anderson is getting from his boss. When Neo answers the phone and speaks to Morpheus for the first time & the Pills There are more...lots more :P
Choice was introduced smack in your face in the 2nd one, but is a major underlying plot element in the first. As are alot of the conversations in the first one.
Speaking of the first film, I'm gonna watch it now...I'm bored

my insight about the 5 previous neo's or however u want to describe it goes like this ( and this is just food for thought, it's not necessarily exactly what i think--just an interesting point-of-view)....some believe that the bros. have based many aspects of the story on concepts from the bible i.e. : nebuchadnezzar, zion, armageddon, etc.
as we know from holy revelation, there will be 7 dispensations...neo is in the 6th reload, and there have been 5 previous, the 5th 'the one' caused the 6th reload of the matrix and for neo to bring them to the 7th and final dispensation, he will have to have done something very different than the previous the ones to break the cycle, or there would be many more than 7 because the machines would keep the cycle going...but if 'armageddon' or the great war between man and machine, in this case, is to happen then neo must have done something different to cause some of the things to happen which have happened--he did make a believer out of the oracle--
any way, this is just a look from a different perspective--comments and critisizem are welcome.
Gender: Unspecified Location: the matrix of alderaan. (

Now I am sure you misunderstood Kes. Please read the correspondence on the last 3 - 4 pages to understand her point. She was talking about when choice was introduced into the Matrix,...NOT when it was first brought to our notice in the movie trilogy.
Stop changing and twisting what he said. He can chat himself you know and explain his own reasons. But if I read right, he states that choice was introduced in the 2nd film with the help of the Oracle.
Well what I told you confirms it wasn't, it was in fact introduced in the first one. If you will watch the film you will see entirely what I mean
In cite is right SHE was talking about the 2nd Matrix created, the 1st being the perfect one. NOT the movie! The Matrix MOVIE takes place in the 2nd Matrix.
Understand?!
Maybe someone can help me out with something before I deal with the issue of whether there are matrices within matices.
The whole Idea of the matrix has always seemed a little illogical to me.
Are these inteligent machines using humans merely as battery power or are they using humans for something more as well? If we are only batteries, what is so special about humanity?
Wouldn't goats or peat moss or earthworms give off bio-energy too? And more efficiently because there is no "I think therefore I am" with goats, peat moss or earthworms?
Well, if there are any left, which i doubt, they wouldn't give as much power as humans. Theres also the war thing...this way they keep the humans under control and are not in war! Does that answer your question?
The reason why Neo is capable of stopping the sentinels is because he was more aware... his consciousness expanded.... after speaking with the Architect... He realized that the ONE wasn't meant to end anything. It's like the old saying: If you can't beat 'em, join 'em
