Integral in this case just means integer. Like a whole number 1,2…, 5,6, as opposed to 1.6 or 4.7 or the squareroot of 2 etc. etc. You can’t really have half a Matrix.

PS it's funny: i never made the connection between the story and the title 'reloaded.' i always figured it was just a fancy way of saying sequel. [/B][/QUOTE]
i dont know if anyone has realized this yet but the machines dont want smith. He is a virus and as far as we know know his sole purpose is to kill neo. so i really doubt that the machines spared him during the attack so im a firm believer in the "he did what neo did" theory. On the other hand i just realized that if his sole purpose of exisitance was to kill neo then why would he have backed off in the sceen where he was going to stab neo. all that happened was that one kid alerted neo and the gang to banes presense. SO that means that hes got other plans also. He has no reason to help the machines but he also hate humans but he also wouldn't have accomplished his goal of killing neo in the "real" world. my brain hurts and this confuses the hell out of me. i think my point was yes neo and bane are some how connected. There is no way for the machines to know that bane had been infected. so i think my theory is that in the first matrix when neo "freed" smith they became connected(i think he says that in m2 but i forget) im just backing up the "they did the same thinggy" theory. i doubt the double matrix theroy just cuz i can.i have no clue and i bet it ends up being something that noone thinks of when it comes out. theres my 2 cents
When Revolutions comes out there will be a whole new thread created for peeps to brag that they were right, or maybe were all wrong!

Maybe humans actually did WIN the war with the machines. Left with no power source, the matrix was created by evil humans who also inserted the macines into the matrix as well (this could have been accomplished by some sort of an uber-virus). This way the evil overlords could controll their machine captives and the masses of restless humanity and score power to live extravagant lifestyles as well. They could enter and leave the matrix at will and do all sorts of odd things while they were here (-er- I mean there). It would be the ultimate video game for them. They would take pleasure in all sorts of twisted and sick experiments to inflict suffering on their captives. Like coupling a male 'digital' body to a female 'real' body in the matrix. This would explain homosexuality. They would also thrill to the fight for freedom (which we are currently thrilled with) like the gladitorial games of old. Who knows how many layers of the matrix there could be then?
I havnt read the whole threa, but i will try my best not to repeat...
There was an enormous amount of talk in reloaded about choice, and understanding choice, and acting before knowing why and so on.
So here is what has happened... Neo has 'the sight' as the oracle said, which is why he could see Trinity falling, (even on the outside of the city matrix). If he could forsee trinity falling from zion then he would have been able to forsee the sentinals attcking him and trinny and morpehous and link right after the nebukanezer blew up. In the game Enter the matrix it is stated that neo has seperated his mind from his body. Okay, so while he was in the mainfram with the source he was able to control everything. He made the choice then to destroy the sentinals, and only when they attacked him did he realize why he did it. The same is true for Smith. He destroyed the attackers while he was in the mainfram, but in the real world he understood why. I dont know why they are in commas. If the mind can not survive without the body then why arnt they dead?
So zion is real, but somehow, neo is connected to the matrix (this is hard to understand if you believe zion is real because he is not hardlined to the matrix in anyway?). The source was lying to neo, he knew that he was vulnerable to neo while neo was in the mainframe, and so he tried to lie to neo to get him out and to get him confused and to divert him from his goal. The source said that neo and he will never meet again because neo has destroyed the source, the only thing left to find out is the why!
Are these inteligent machines using humans merely as battery power or are they using humans for something more as well? If we are only batteries, what is so special about humanity?
Wouldn't goats or peat moss or earthworms give off bio-energy too? And more efficiently because there is no "I think therefore I am" with goats, peat moss or earthworms?
well wait, bio-energy is a function of biomass - more mass, nore energy. Even bacteria give off bioenergy and surely bacteria would still be around. I wouldn't have a problem with it if the machines needed us for something else. Maybe they're trying to study us or something, even that would make sense. I'm not trying to throw a wrench into anything, I'd just like it to be explained.
If there IS a matrix within a matrix ( and this makes a lot of sense to me), then this whole movie is just like a freaking Star Trek: The Next Generation episode I saw once.
Sorry - don't want tp be a pain. When I was a kid I had a HUGE problem with Speed Racer because of (among other things) those damm circular saws that were used on a daily basis. They'd cut down 75 year old Oak trees with a flimsy arm at 100 MPH, then the damm trees would just fly away in the other direction and the stumps would disappear. I just couldn't get past that.
Still by keeping the humens in that state they avoid a war. so the use them for energy! simple as that. i'm not saying there aren't other forms of energy, just that this one solves 2problems.
in enter the matrix it didnt say he had seperated his mind from his body it said he had touched the source and was trapped between the oracle's world (the matrix) and the real world and that only Trinity had the power to free him and as the oracle said "will have to fight throught hell to do it" so Neo has the same powers he has in the matrix in the real world like sence the presence of sentinals like he sensed the agents but in the real world he has not full control over his powers which is why he in a coma and bane in in a coma cause sentinal bomb blew up his ship but im my opinion i thikn he was caught in the blast radius but didnt die as he had time to escape. Cant wait for revolutions!!!!!!
