Since it's coming to PC soon, I thought this was a perfect time for it to warrant it's own thread.
Even if there was no recent stuff, there's enough added that makes this viable of a new thread.
Anyway, loving this game. The new "Eternal Ferrystones" make it SOOOOO much better to traverse the world.
(For those that don't know what a Ferrystone is, it's a kind of Fast Travel in DD.)
Bitterblack Isle is awesome.
Anyway, gonna stop gushing about this game, and ask you what YOU think.

It adds new DA-exclusive content, and it feels just like DS this time around.
The difficulty, even on normal mode has been raised TREMENDOUSLY.
You will die, a lot.
Even on higher levels.

So, apparently, from what I'm hearing, they're saying a sequel is definitely possible if both games do well enough on PC.
EVERYONE BUY DD NOW.
No, but honestly, in my experience, this game destroyed Skyrim, in every way.
The map is friggen gigantic, there's Fast Travel now, a new area to explore.
The new Dark Souls vibe is done really REALLY well.
Plus, HD Textures help the game looks its best.
The only game that can compete with this game in terms of Boss Battles, is Shadow of the Colossus. Yes, I said that.
I've beaten Shadow of the Colossus, love the game to pieces, and while that game is better then this, I've never had this much fun in a boss battle.
Your enemies are strategic, and know when they're outmatched. Some of them will run away, while some just take to the air, and land powerful blows on you.
This game is a masterpiece.

...Best Final Boss fight....
...ever.
I've done Final Bosses before, I've beaten MGR.
MGR has NOTHING!!!! on this game.
In terms of a Final Boss, I mean.

I'm not talking FINAL final.
Just... Final.
Every second difficulty level in Dark Arisen, including Easy and Normal, have been ramped up in difficulty.
If you didn't like the original, there's a chance you might be a big fan of this one.
There's a new area styled somewhat after Dark Souls, you can't speak on it unless you've experienced it, trust me.

I've beaten the game on hard as well as Bitterblack though that just goes to normal difficulty by default. Hell I've just about platinumed the game.
And Bitterblack is old and doesn't really feel like Dark Souls, especially when everything takes so long to kill. It's got that depressing feel I guess, but that's about it.

Felt like DS to me. Suprisingly, the game is compared to DS a lot.
But everyone has their own opinion.
How bout that sequel?
I can't wait to see the mods you can get on the PC version.

Has anyone played the PC Version yet?
I heard they removed the Berserk outfits.

Update for you, Kazenji.
Pretty much any machine in recent years can run DD, a Windows Vista laptop could probably run DD. You'd be doing yourself a monumental disservice not at least trying it.
Edit: Hopefully more mods will come out soon, I want a ****ing lightsaber.

I just beat Dark Souls 3 so I will likely return to DDDA soon. It's honestly one of my all-time favorites. I never beat it on console and I grabbed it on steam recently so I could play it on PC. It looks great.
I wish we got DDO here in North America, though. I would've loved that.

We might get a sequel if the game does well enough on PC. Was explicitly stated by Capcom themselves.

Really? In that case, it's looking far from bad then...
