He did look weird. And sounded weird too.

And I hear all these things about AEdwars being good in size and scale. And he was when it came to AT-AT's, the Death Star etc. But he shoots Vader as a regular guy.

It looked awful in the first scene. His body language next to Krennic was weak as well.

Suit needed to match ANH as the story is right before ANH. I thought it was ok as the old ANH suit looked 1977 (or low budget) old anyway.

James earl jones is getting old, so his voice did sound a bit different. He had like one line of dialogue in ROTS.....

Also, suprised they didn't use any of the original or episodes score/music. All different

And Haha. Can't believe they used gold and red leader footage from ANH. Wonder if it was from the original ANH unedited footage?

You do not need to make it look exactly the same. It was on a much lower budget so since the budget is huge make him look better. I do agree James earl is really old so that can't be helped.

Correct. And it didn't look exactly the same. The ANH helmet for instance was dull (the prevent the crew and lights reflecting in his helmet). This was all shiny.

It didn't match ANH's suit though. It was looser and far shinier. And the texture on his arms was far too pronounced. All together, it's easily the worst Vader suit in the films.

Still, his scenes were quite entertaining and well done particularly that last one.

Maybe he wasn't lit very well.

But I sure felt he wasn't shot very well in that scene either. He looked relatively short.

In RotS, it was Hayden wearing the suit and he managed to botch even that part.

I noticed Vaders eye lens looked a bit more red. Although I think it's lighting too. I recall in ANH you can actually see Vaders eyes through the lens when he turns his head during the trench run.

If his Suit was a bit shinier, then maybe he lost the polish after slaughtering the rebels (still very awesome).

The bodies in the suit also make a difference. Don't think this one matched David prowse very well. Recall in ROTS, Hayden was so skinny leading to a skinny Vader.....

"Don't 'choke' on your ambitions" = some of the most cringe-worthy dialogue I have ever witnessed in a SW film.

...Just glad Vader's second/final scene made up for that ridiculousness. thumb up

I actually liked how his helmet was shiny, makes it look more sleek. I didn't like how his eye lenses had a red tint, and his gloves and cape looked weird. But that last scene made up for it

So the ROTS and ROTJ Blu-Ray edition "noooo" now have some competition as worst Vader dialogue.

In all seriousness though, one bad line doesn't ruin a movie for me. Just dents the moment. Unfortunately in the ROTJ Blu-Ray it was denting an Epic moment.
