Vegeta died because he couldn't survive in space not from the exploding.
Even if it was true it would be still disappointing.
They have the power of a god now/ near universal destruction feat and they cant survive in space?
Imo getting killed by a planet explosion with this kind of power is kinda meh....

I really don't get why you people are still caught up on this type of debate. Obviously a planet exploding isn't what's going to be a problem...not for anyone above namek freeza. The obvious damager is the blasts themselves..the planets are just collateral.
When freeza kills vegeta it's as simple as instead of trying to hit a small mobile target he dumps everything into a giant immobile one and catches everyone in the blast anyway

I seriously doubt 4th form Frieza could hurt SSB Vegeta at all....

I would have said the same thing about Semi-Perfect Cell harming FPSSJ Goku... Until I saw Goku get killed by Cell's kamikaze.
And as I mentioned earlier: the difference between Semi-Perfect Cell and FPSSJ Goku was substantially greater than the difference between 4th form Freeza and SSB Vegeta. So yeah, even if the blast would have killed Vegeta, it's not like it would have been some new concept--in fact, it would have actually made more sense than Cell killing Goku... /shrug

It makes sense that way though.....seems like Kamikaze attacks are the best way to go...
Minus Majin Vegeta off course but that was kinda impressive as well.
Still it just bothers me how easily he did it.....
I wouldnt nitpick that much if the blast would have destroyed like 20 nearby planets at their current power level...

Super - especially RoF arc - can be nitpicked all to hell.
Shishami was shocked by 1st form Frieza's power lv BEFORE Frieza started training. So Shishami must've been much less powerful than Frieza's 530,000.
And he gave Gohan a run for his money

He really didn't do a thing to Gohan. Gohan stared at him while he bear hugged him, let him squeeze him to show him he is nothing. Shi looked shocked because his attack was worthless and both got surprised blast by that purple dude. He wasn't even a minor threat.

You're wrong. He's waded through Gohan's Renzoku Energy Dan like through nothing and that bearhug sure as hell wasn't pleasant for Gohan who had to think of his family and shit in order to try to break through...

The animation through out the whole fight just looks like utter shyte....
This is a great reminder of why I no longer follow this show. Absolutely atrocious.

Funny. One would think they learned something from Goku vs Beerus (on King Kai's planet)... infamous episode...
