What? That because a large part of the GA liked it, that somehow makes all their ****-ups across three movies okay? If that's what we disagree on, then fair enough.
lol the general audience isn't 1 person that somebody can tell us what they think.
The DCEU at best has had a mixed response so far. Some people have enjoyed them for what they are, some people have thought they were trash.
But one things for sure, they've not done a successful job of translating the fan love for these characters from comic books and even cartoons, into a wider audience love for them, the way the MCU did with their Phase I.
And That's why Justice League isn't going to explode the way Avengers1 did. So sure the DCEU is making money from moderate films based on popular characters, but they would make a hell of a lot more if they made really good movies, and portrayed the characters better.

Avengers showed us JL's potential given DC and Marvel have always been the 2 superhero franchise top dogs, and especially given JL always had the bigger names.
Prior to the DCEU Batman's solo films were hitting 1 Bill in 2d! So I don't know why you think the JL hitting 1 bill years later and in 3D would be some kind of achievement.

JL doing over a billion with it's 4th movie and supposedly terrible critically/ negative general audience reactions (according to you) would actually be impressive.

Well actually the MCU didn't hit 1bill. It raced past that and exploded into 1.5bill (that's called building up goodwill and letting it manifest over time), and did it in 4 years. DC have had their 4 years now. If they've managed 1 less film in that time that's they're own fault. And they don't look like they're ready to have a box office explosion with JL lol

Well their great films all performed beyond expectations and then they generated the goodwill which allowed all their event films + IM3 to fly pass the Billion mark.
Anyway why do you want a Billion instead of a Great film for DC?
