Once the final part of Negan's backstory has been released(which *should* be next month), I will post the entire series sequentially in this thread. That way it can all be read from start to finish, in one post.

Nearly every volume of the primary series over the last five years has topped graphic novel charts on release. If Here’s Negan can do the same, it bodes well for the durability of The Walking Dead‘s brand beyond the core story.
I really dont see yhis NOT topping the charts.

Yep. In Negan Kirkman created a whole new "brand" to use that phrase and I don't think he ever planned for that either. Amazing how popular Negan has become. All the chars start from the same level of popularity yet Negan comes in many many issues in and takes everything by storm.
Luckily Amazon UK are actually stocking this on release so I can buy it. Was thinking I might have to pay the crazy import prices from the US to here.

Negan's popularity, well, i'm sure he was meant to BE popular, but the degree to which he's taken astranglehold on pop culture?
I cant see that being planned.

*I also enjoy the humanity in Negan -- in his decision to do what he did, and bash that guy's f*cking skull in. He certainly didn't enjoy killing people(he's said as much in past issues), but he did it for the greater good...Or what he *thought* was the greater good, at least.

For those who don't know: "Negan Lives!" is a comic shop exclusive -- so essentially all revenue generated from the issue went right back into the local comic book stores. Really was an awesome way for Kirkman to help out the industry.
