That's not an issue(well for me), the issue I have is that they needed the nexus to fly with their lightsabers? That could have been just a feature of the lightsabers, there's literally no point in making it the result of Malachor. It'd make more sense for that to be a lightsaber feature, seeing as in Legends there were different lightsaber features that could be used.

Nah, Filoni has confirmed that they won't duel. Which make sense. After all, why would Vader bother to dirty his hands killing a lowly Sith like Maul? He has far more important things to do, that's way below his paygrade.

Continue to want that to happen but it never made sense for Vader to win hence why that was scrapped. Maul is his superior and can survive without an empire aiding him.

Speaking of something, regarding Kanan, I hope they don't make it so this whole 'in tune with the Force thing" becomes a plot device, to get him out of instances where he shouldn't be walking away from.

It's already happened twice, if it becomes a reoccurring theme I'm gonna be rather disappointed.
