Well, I gotta agree with Korri here, but also agree with everyone else - dang that scene was longer than expected...but nevertheless, I have one picture of that...erhem...scene. But I can't really show it here, can I?? So just look at this one...

I will tell you that i am about as conservative as they come, as i am a conservative Baptist. However, i have read up on the W-ski bros. and i am hard pressed to believe that they would include a sex scene unless it is necessary to the plot of the movie. I believe that the scene was necessary to the point of the movie, it *shows* us how much Trin and Neo love each other, it shows us the thought process of Neo choosing Trin over his destiny. Also, do you ever see any *marriages* in the Matrix, or in Zion? No, people are *together* but we never hear of *marriages*. The love-scene between Neo and Trin is the best way of Showing the audience that Neo and Trin really, TRULY love each other.
Also, i do not believe that the "sexual innuendo" takes away from the philosophy of the movies, because i believe that, in order to truly understand someone's philosophy, you must understand the thought processes behind that philosophy, those decisions, and the sexual innuendo helps to build the characters, provide them with a background, a character base, in order to follow their actions better. Ex. If the Mero. is the equivalent of Lucifer, then wouldn't it make sense that he would "sample" what he is tempting others with?
I think the scene was far too long and ending with Neo dreaming about Trinity dying. Not the best way to end you business if you ask me. Trying to get your thing on and then you started thinking about other shit
