Edit - Thanks for the summary. I'm caught up and have said what I think. More specifically, the FBI isn't taking Trump's side.

While I'll be the first to admit that what I said could appear as tinfoolery, there's the facts of timing and manner of release.

While your position certainly has some merits, it's also as tinfoolery as mine, so agreed.

But I doubt yours, this has the potential (even if slim) to cost Clinton the election when she was already ahead before the release. I don't think she'd take that gambit.

The more "thrashing" Clinton gets, the less sting it actually has at changing minds. It just comes off as Trump trumpeting more hot-air. And if you consider that the polls don't change much because of it, it takes the wind out of the sails of anything legit Trump might have.

Another way to view this is Crystal Pepsi vs. Tab Clear. While Crystal Pepsi was legit, some say that Tab Clear was made to make Crystal Pepsi appear less appealing. In other words, it existed to make Crystal Pepsi fail.

Again...I'm running out of aluminium foil on this end even typing this post. But if Hillary Clinton's team did not think of this, they should have. If they legit didn't think of it, I should be on their payroll, releasing Tab Clear propaganda to destroy Trump's Crystal Pepsi.

I've considered that, Bernie's "we're sick of hearing about emails" made me consider the oversaturation angle from the inside, especially if there was something else new about Clinton that could be damaging, but it's a week out to election day and nothing.

So far this has harmed her, even if minor. I see no win?
