I don't think she's a piece of shit, though. I think she has her problems, and they are pretty severe, but I think she is capable of being a thoughtful and successful president. I trust her not to make knee jerk reactions and to think potential decisions through before making them. I also trust her not to appoint supreme court judges who won't reverse marriage equality and who won't reverse Roe v Wade. I think she will also be willing to attempt to work with republicans, as that is something she did pretty regularly in the senate. I think she'd make a decent enough president.
I understand, I just happen to think people who are corrupt and lie and manipulate people are indeed pieces of shit, even if they can make thoughtful decisions.
So I guess instead we can say that we agree both are corrupt, just disagree on who is more corrupt.

The danger with a corrupt politician—in a capitalist society where lobbying is legal—is that they cater to the needs of private enterprises over the needs of the people.
And an intelligent politician be able to do this a lot more effectively.

I also feel like it sanctions this behavior. Pay to play? Starting riots at rallies? Meh, it's okay.
Trump supporters commit acts of violence? Then people want to talk about it. Convicted felon visits the White House 300 times? Meh, he served his time! Oh, the same guy is on tape talking about starting shit at Trump rallies? Meh, how dare you even ask why this man was visiting the white house.
