They needed an excuse to grasp at straws, plus I think Rob wanted a reason to say "not on my watch" multiple times.
Remember the excuse is that he was immediately labeled a Trump supporter because he apparently appeared at a Trump rally, though I've seen reports that he was shouting at people on both sides and was even asked to leave one of the rallies. But this would involve selective research. Highlighting the stuff that apparently connects him to Trump, but not mentioning his support of someone who definitely isn't Trump.
In truth he seems like a white supremacist ready to shout down anyone who doesn't go along with his extremist views. And since, contrary to popular belief, a majority of Trump supporters are not white supremacists...this guy had issues on both sides.

You can find a LOT of asian generalities.. From liberals and conservatives both.
Native Americans also seem to be an "acceptable target of ignorance". Sure, there's the sports teams names, but they're still nowhere near the "don't touch this with a 10 foot pole" status of other class's.
It's funny how bigoted statements against asians or Native Americans aren't treated nearly the same as other statements.. Best reason I can tell, is:

Baaically, all sjw issues happen because some rich guys make good content for the news, which people eat up. More or less. no, it's a factual statement. a substantial group within the right are racist. thus "many".
to say "most" would be an overgeneralization and kinda bigoted, "all" would just be poor form indeed, but 'many' is just a fact. your feels do not factor into facts and reasoning.
