If they can't figure out that seeing a DC logo means the characters are from DC then frankly your family is retarded.

TBH, I'd say it's more to do with people just not caring. No matter how many logos you plaster at the start of a movie, a lot of people are just not going to pay attention, or treat it like it's just another studio logo, and it isn't like people cared before about those.

It isn't as bad as it used to be, but there's still an element of that ignorance/apathy, imo.

Exactly. Most people don't care about the directors and actors, other than their favs, let alone the logos in the beginning of the movie. Most are probably on their phones.,lol

I would like to see the studies that back up the claim that the general audiences don't know the difference between DC and Marvel movies.

I don't get how it's relevant to the argument though, I realise.

Outside of Deadpool and Wonder Woman, Marvel Disney has dominated the last few years in terms of quality. Sure, WB and the X-Men movies might have made decent money with their shitter movies, but I don't see how that factors in.

Justice League will probably make a ton of money. It has Batman and Wonder Woman in it. I don't know how much, but I'm sure it'll do well.

We can agree to disagree on quality. I think fox is handling the xverse pretty well with Logan and Deadpool.

JL will do well. WB is making more than decent money.

I forgot about Logan. I was speaking more of Apocalypse, which was a pile of shit.

I just hope the quality of the movies starts to reflect the revenue, personally.

That's exactly the problem. JL will do well regardless of quality. Doesn't really give WB much incentive to actually make good films, let alone great ones.

I thought it was still "Gone with the Wind" that held the spot as the top grossing movie of all time?

or

Justice league making around 500 million and it being an 8 or 9/10 movie?
It is obvious he doesn't care about the quality he just wants them to do well because he's such a hypocritical fanboy. He's nverbeenwthagirl the old poster. Goes by Fangirl on Herochat. He's a liar. He's had two accounts at the very least perma banned.

Marvel is making more money and their films are more critically well received. That's the best part of your weak argument anything DC does well Marvel does better.

That's adjusted for inflation.

Anyder crapped the bed already with Batman v. Superman. That should have made a billion but the critics and bad worth of mouth smited the icons at the box office.

Given they kept Snyder on for JL after 2 divisive films, proves WB were not too bothered about quality.

You've admitted yourself JL will make money no matter what. So we know they're making money on name recognition alone. Why care about making "great" films. So far they seem more than happy with half assed efforts which bank money.

Keep dreaming. Whedon had to take control and the rumors are the films shit so massive reshoots had to take place. They also altered their darker universe and tried aping marvel because they are a joke. They change their plans all the time and the public has no idea what the **** they are thinking besides begging Leo to play an out of universe joker. Pitiful.
