Big fan of the new trailer, they also revealed in some art of the characters for the movie that Vegeta will be using SSG at some point so that's no longer going to be a manga only form for him, so that's pretty cool too.

Maybe, though just going by the trailer I'm still glad Frieza won't be getting the short end of the stick, in relation to Vegeta and such... That would just be Gohan as per the usual.
And yeah, SSJG Vegeta in anime form will be interesting.

So, it's just a remake of "Broly - the Legendary Super Saiyan"? Hmmm...hopefully they give Broly a better backstory instead of "mad at Goku for crying as baby instead of Vegeta whose father tried to kill him." I'm curious as to what will change. The movie is said to explore the origins of the Saiyans and Frieza.
Totally get the vibe that Broly was created by Freeza/Paragus as some sort of experiment to create a Saiyan stronger than Goku and Vegeta. That would explain why Freeza said "Magnificent! His power level is amazing!", and also why he appeared to be sparring with Broly. It would also explain why Vegeta said "dammit, he's learning as he fights!!!", as though it was Broly's first true battle... So I'm thinking the origin story Bran and I mentioned on the last page is going to be a VERY strong possibility here, tbh.
Also, base Broly stalemating SSB Goku... Jesus, lol. If MUI doesn't appear again as a counter for LSSJ Broly, I'll be shocked.

If Gogeta happens like some theorize, there may be no need for MUI at this time.
i.e. If you recall them remastering some of previous movies, Fusion Reborn being one of them, along with Broly, perhaps it was done to put Gogeta in the minds of fans for the new Broly film...
Will have to see though, but I wouldn't mind it happening with how badass and to the point Gogeta was with Janemba. Regardless, definitely agree at this point that new Broly is a genetic experiment/creation, and since they didn't seem to change his character too much (as far as personality or lack thereof), it makes sense for him to be something like that.
Fusion is possible, though at this point I feel like it would be a cheap asspull, and almost out of character for Goku and Vegeta. Both of them are so stuck on their own individual powers that it's hard to imagine them fusing again, imo.
But if MUI doesn't happen, then SOME sort of teamwork scenario will have to, me thinks. /shrug
....That said, I'd go full fangirl if Beerus pops-in after Broly beats the shit out of Goku/Vegeta, tells Broly he might have made a decent GoD one day, and then 'Hakais' his ass into nothingness.

Like Stilt said he is literally wearing a frayed bath towel. It's mad gay. Gay as phuck one could say. Also more generic frankly. Old Broly's jewelry, baggy pants, and red sash gave the impression of a figure from antiquity. A mythological being of legend. A Legendary Super Saiyan.
