PArasite's Power Play - PRe-Crisis Superman's Red Glass storyline:
proplogue: Parasite uses a power prism to steala portion of Superman's power and grant it to others. at the end, He tries to absorb all of Superman's power, gets overloaded and explodes: https://imgur.com/a/k05XpZg\
patrt 01 - Parasite uses his prism to creat a new Solomon Grundy who is stronger than Superman: https://imgur.com/a/fE8hXBR
part 02 - Parasites plan is to increase Superman's power so that he is corrupted by his power and goes insane: https://imgur.com/a/qgfskeb
03 - Parasite increasing Superman's powers causes to nearly go insane corrupted with power - he uses a solution to weaken himself by 50% to go back to his standard levels-- yet loses all of his powers after Parasite drains him further, seemingly draining him of all his normal power levels, which 'should' overloaded him: https://imgur.com/a/GMkhivL
04 It's revealed why Superman's powers were increasing, and why despite them increasing he lost his power -- PArasite did not increase the amount of power within his body, he stole his MENTAL INHIBITION that normally Supresses the of his power that he is ACCESSING - IE his MENTAL BLOCKS on accessing all of his power.
He is normally SUPPRESSING his internal powerlevels(including how much he 'feels') by about 50%, so when he accessed 100% due to PArasite stealing his mental holding back factor(- an established mental super-power of his JUST as Byrne, Wolfman, Ordway, Jurgens, Simonson, Loeb, DeMattheis, Casey, Schultz, Kelly, Johns, Busiek, Robinson, etc. portrayed Post Crisis via the psionic factor/force of will/subconscious superhuman control of his stats), it felt as if he is being boosted by 2x.
Accessing his own innate power at 100% causes him to go INSANE( see Red Glass storyline Post Crisis posted above-- SAME EXACT CONCEPT, and, yes,[b][u] the basis for Sentry's entire concept as a character[u][b]) so e tried to decrease his power by half to go back to normal-- only for Parasite to fully drain the other half.
Superman at 3/4ths innate power movies the Earth faster than a speed of a laser-- the speed of light.

This storyline establishes that Pre-Crisis Superman mentally suppresses his internal access to his innate power for fear of killing, is normally only using up to 50% of his innate power levels at any given time, that accessing 100% can potentially cause him to go insane with , and that he need to cut his innate power output by 50% to return to normal output levels(while he was using 100% of his innate energy levels).
Superman's standard operating levels=50% power decrease. Canonical fact. Which, of course, means that accessing 100% of his power is the equivalent of magnifiying his power to an enormous degree.
Now I don't EVER want to hear anyone even try to dispute this FACTUAL aspect of Superman's powerset again.

He is normally mentally SUPPRESSING his internal power-levels(including how much he 'feels' within his body, identical to Byrne/Ordway's LEgends and Loeb Era 'No limits'/OWAW) by about 50%, so when he accessed 100% due to Parasite stealing his mental holding back factor(- an established mental super-power of his JUST as Byrne, Wolfman, Ordway, Jurgens, Simonson, Loeb, DeMattheis, Casey, Schultz, Kelly, Johns, Busiek, Robinson, etc. portrayed Post Crisis via the psionic factor/force of will/subconscious superhuman control of his stats), it felt as if he is being boosted by 2x.

Adventurees 365 - Superboy overcomes his mental blocks on his power levels, going from being nearly crushed to death to shattering the device with increasing force capable of killing him at standard levels:
Gender: Unspecified Location: In Hell, torturing your soul.

Yep.
I'm not sure I can agree with the term "dynamic strength".
I think that "Extra effort" would be more appropriate but instead of simply burning calories like us, Superman uses more of his solar energy to fuel his powers.
The best example of this extra effort is finally the Solar Flare, when Superman totally unleash the energy he has stored and becomes powerless.
So, panthergod where is Superman dynamic strength here? I thought his power is depeneded/limited to his mind?
Rogol Zaar a low tier is stomping him.
Or do you think Rogol also has dynamic strength too? You need to realize superman's dynamic strength doesn't exist anymore. especially in current continuity
This is not a debate thread. Showings like that happened throughout all Superman eras, and in no way shape or form make his proven powerset not exist because you don't want it to.
